imo Fedor and M1 have been a thorn in Dana's side for a long time. Not that he owns him he will ruin whats left of his career and make sure he's done for good.

I don't think Dana's going to do anything that's detrimental to him and ZUFFA's pockets. If Fedor is a viable source of revenue, then Fedor will be on Dana's friend's list. If Dana was allowed to execute personal issues against fighters he doesn't like, Tito would have been long gone and even when Dana tried a shenanigan on Fitch for not complying with the exclusive video game deal, Dana was reeled back in by the real bosses.

Fedor can retire, he lost his chance to redeem himself by having been punished and eliminated from the "tournament" and it doesn't seem like he's gonna dominate SF LHW fighters either, even if he tries to... Dana White will do his best to remove M-1 from the global scene and I think he can. His huge sphere of influence has just significantly expanded. And M-1 can keep doing small shows with unknown participants, their "services" are no longer needed when Zuffa is in charge.

Speaking of Fedor possibly being Dana's friend, Fedor is one step away from 0-3, Hendo is looking forward to making that happen. SF management wants that fight and with this kind of record no magic can save M-1 with Emelianenko. They can offer him an opportunity to join UFC but for Fedor that would mean splitting with M-1 and I don't see that happening.

Dana already seems aware that Fedor wont be with the UFC after his contract.

I think he's just going to give Fedor tough matchups he probably won't win.

right.

the development with Fedor is kind of stale and not worthy of the or at least one of the greatest fighters in the world.

But I guess that's how it goes sometimes.

Thats probably the best thing he could do for Fedor........giving someone a second chance is more rewarding than punishing if he got the chance to face top guys thats a great opportunity. If Dana were to give him Cannon fodder then that would be a slap in the face and a terrible way to go out.

But he isn't a cash cow. It isn't that he doesn't draw as well as Brock or GSP, it isn't even close. There are at least a dozen, if not more, fighters who draw far better than Fedor. His salary is probably quite disproportionate to his actual value in selling a ppv. I am most definitely a Fedor fan but the UFC doesn't need him at all, especially after 2 losses.
