Yeah but at least it's not the week before the week before, for example. Actually, for some reason I thought the fight was not this weekend but next, not sure how but until yesterday I was positive we were still in the week before the week before. This week is sweet for me because suddenly its fight week and only a few days away.

I LOVE this shit

Its not so simple to say if Jones fights his fight he wins and if he doesn't then he might still.
You can disagree with everything, it's ok.
But after reading your post 2-3 times i honestly have to say: you quoted the wrong post...or something like that.
The post you quoted wasn't about how the fight would go on and was a response to Hiro's post about me being a Jon Jones fan.

I understand the words, the phrases, but the point you are trying to make can be very confusing.

LOL the things delusinal fighters have to say just too sway the fear of the upcoming fight. Mental is one thing but to boast as if you already got this fight in the bag is proof jones isnt capable of such a top tiere bout, Shogun's seen the likes of Jones before but Jones cant say the same for Shogun and that will be the deciding factor.

I'm picking Shogun in this one, I don't think Jones is that fast, Machida is really fast and shogun had no problem with him. Also, to "new school" Shogun is only 29 Jones is 23, 6 years isn't that big man. "To strong" maybe, but Jones hasn't fought a high caliber guy like shogun, thats the unknown with him. Hope it'll be a great fight.

Can I lend you a tissue? Maybe a side of reality with that?

I think he's in for a shocking ass whoopin. The good thing for him and his coaches is they can put it down to what realistically is the case - he's too inexperienced and technically weak to beat Shogun, the title shot came too early and he has years to improve. Once they realise that his athleticism and unorthodox style will only be enough against mid tiers, they will know the hard work is still to come. Guys like Shogun will light Bones up.

Honestly I think wherever this fight goes Shogun is going to show what being the best 205'er really means. When the skill level gets to a certain height, and I made this point in another thread, athleticism is squashed unless it's backed up with a similar level of skill. Check Rumble, Lesnar and so on. These guys can make a mid tier look like a small child but once they get in there with a Kos or a Cain, they get exposed.

Even if Bones takes Shogun down which he'll try desperately to do when Shogun goes berserker on him, he'll be having subs and sweeps coming from all over and I bet he'll get dominated on the ground too. If he takes Shogun down and Shogun sweeps him, he'll get finished by GnP. What's he going to be like off HIS back? Man, the Bones hype train is going to derail so bad, people never learn.

Bones isn't ready for this, I just hope for his sake he can deal with an ass whoopin and move on.
HAHHHAHHAHAHAH You're totally right, I really hope Jones can deal with the ass whoopin and move on too. It's not easy living with the guilt of raping an invalid inside the octagon.
