And Jones is the one acting like a baby? Riiiggghhhtttt... More the reason to dislike Evans. This is screaming of jealousy from Evans. Why not talk this over in privacy between Jackson and Jones? Or save the stupid comments to the media after Jones is done challenging for the title? It seems like Evans wants to shift Jones' focus from his title shot or something. Real classless in my opinion.

“What’s gonna happen is, the team’s are gonna split apart. If I know there’s a chance I’m training with Jon and Greg’s training with Jon, I’m not gonna train with Greg any more, EVER again. Because I need my coach to always be able to coach me no matter who I’m gonna fight. If he can’t do that, I don’t feel that there’s a use for me having him as my coach.”
I can't watch the video but, I see nothing wrong with this quote. This is an intensely personal issue for these guys and why I'm against team mates being pushed into a fight. If it works for them and they can make each other money then great. If it causes an upheaval and disruption in the system that got them here then leave 'em alone, there are other fights.

edit: I posted this in another thread. Jackson doesn't want to corner either fighter. it's ust a mess. Hope you're all happy now.:(

Actually, yes... I am happy. I'm happy these guys get to finally put their claims of brotherhood to the test. I'm glad its been revealed to be nothing more than hollow words.

At the end of the day, they made the claims. Its not the fans fault that their claims we're weak and not true. They dug their own hole. They both want the belt and they both choose to work together in the same camp. Madness.

Jackson: "Rashad- let me think long and hard about the answer and get back to you only after I have made the absolute best decison"- (1 ms later) "I'll take Jones.... nice knowing you, clean out your locker and don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on your way out."

Rashad is the more proven fighter , Jones will lose saturday ..

I'd pick Rashad over Jones for now ..

Because I have always said this... Rashad is scared of Jones and doesn't want to fight him. That is why he made a big stink about not fighting teamates when he was getting his title shot. Now that this has happened he has tried to weasel his way back in. I really hope I get to see him get KTFO in his next fight.

He made a big stink about it because he was caught by surprise when someone told him Jones said he wouldn't have a problem fighting Rashad. Jackson is the one that made the rule that if you join his camp, you would agree not to fight your teammates. Rashad only stated he was taken back by Jone's comment because he wasn't made aware of it beforehand, which he has a point. Professional fighters being scared to fight one another is ridiculous.

Jones has a bright Future , Evans has a future just not as bright or as long. + Jones

Jones is a better fighter. + Jones

Evans is coming across more so as a baby and is already training else where looking like a tool. + Jones

Pretty much all + points are in Jones favour so im sorry Rasahd but you're fucked.

Human nature...there can only be one.

Personally I think it should have been JBJ vs Rashad for the title shot. All good. They'll fight each other regardless eventually.

A lotta people see JBJ taking the belt from Shogun. I just don't see it...at least not yet. JBJ can certainly win the fight, but I think Shogun will blast em.

Guess, we'll have to wait til Saturday night.

I thought they were like brothers. How could one comment from Jones, which wasn't even disrespctful in any form, completely destroy such a (percievably)strong relationship? Maybe Rashad has a complex where he can't see another black man suceed i.e. Rampage, remember he use to be a fan of his when he first started doing mma.

One of the precepts of joining the Jackson camp is to agree that you won't fight your teammate.

Rashad and Jones were probably more so repeating the Jackson camp tantra, as oppose to speaking from the heart.

You poke a little whole in a weak dam and it all comes crashing down.

Well thats not really a choice is it, lets see who is the one giving him this ultimatum, he is not going to kick the other guy out now is he just because Rash says so, and especially double so should Jones take that Belt back to camp.

Oh well Rash was nice having you there, see ya later!!

We may get to see Rash vs Jones after all, in fact after all this sh1t if Rash does not step up for his title shot should Jones win the belt then he is just well.... figure that one out, worse than Diaz talking the sh1t and not stepping up to fight Miller anyway at least Diaz has Gold and Weight division difference on his side of the debate, whats Rash's excuse.

Come to think I hope Rash dodges this fight which pisses DW off and Rash ends up in SF, I would love to see him fight King Mo, I have been saying for a long time that I think SF has a stronger LHW division, and ex-champ vs ex-champ Mo vs Rash, I seriously think Mo takes this one and goes a long way towards proving my point

Rashaad sounds so french... I never liked his attitude, he plays the smart guy but truly he's an idiot. They should team up with Kos, and I think even KOS is smarter than Rashad.

I don't really like Jones either (nor do I dislike him, just that I don't really care), but man I don't want to see Suga win anymore, I hope he gets his a$$ kicked in his next fights so he gets cut. It's not like we're gonna lose a show maker anyway.
