Sorry, I don't know how to embed videos from MMAFighting.com but the link is above.

Interesting interview.

EDIT: At the end he says he wants Wanderlei vs Belfort 2.

The problem is that Shogun is coming off a reoccurring injury and a serious one at that. This alone make people nervous about the match.

Add to that the majority of ufc fans are ufcbots, in the sense they dont consider anything that happened outside the the ufc umbrella or before TUF relevant

I agree. He wrecked Machida when Machida was supposed to be invincible. I think he's about to wreck another said invincible fighter.

Wouldn't be surprised if he KOs JBJ. I am hoping for a submission victory though.

Beating machida 2x was an acheivement beating jones wont be.The Machida praise was deserved and his perfect record (which included never losing a round) spoke for itself.Jones hype is mainly a byproduct of fanboyism and zuffa finally cashing in on it.Anyone with even a minuscule of mma knowledge can see hes incredibly raw (esp striking dept).If he can pull a lesnar hats off to him.But lets not act like shogun shouldnt destroy jones (I dont care what betting says)

Yeah it's pretty crazy Jones is such a heavy favourite, Shogun's injuries are 100% playing a part in that though.

I like Belfort vs Wandy 2. Hope that or the Leben fight happens, although if it's in Rio it's obvious which of the two fights is better.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. As much of a freak Jones is, I still think Shogun is wayyyy too big a step up for the JBJ at the moment.

Pretty sure its the injury thats playing a huge part in the betting odds. I mean with having another knee surgery, it's really hard to get over that...

handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail;
only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalized a brick;
I'm so mean I make medicine sick."
