I think this is gonna be the biggest test Chuck's had in a long time certainly, but he has grown a lot since he fought Rampage at Pride. He is much more patient now,and his hands are even more precise than then. His main problem I think would be his cardio, but if he gets that right I think he'll pull out the win.Having said that,he does get a bit sloppy with his boxing defense at times. Can't wait for this scrap to happen though, and as I said at the begining of this post,if anyone is gonna take that belt from Chuck at the moment,it's gonna be Rampage.

Chuck has grown since he lost to Rampage, but Rampage has also grown.

Chuck's major problem in his fight with Rampage was his slow punches.

Rampage had such quick hands, Chuck wasn't able to get many clean shots off.

Rampage won't just shoot in for the takedown like many of you seem to be predicting. He'll get Chuck off balance with his strikes, and that is when Chuck's sprawl isn't nearly as effective.

Just because Rampage looked a little rusty against Eastman means nothing, Eastman is no slouch when it comes to kickboxing, he's just had 2 bad previous UFC fights.

Chuck will need to hope he catches Rampage right on the button with the punch of his life, because so far, Rampage has been "un-knockoutable".

Why do you guys keep talking about chuck lidell's sprawl when in the previous rampage fight he didn't even shoot on him?

Rampage punched lidell from up close until he was practically inches away from him and lifted him up and then slammed him. Sprawl does shit all if your opponent is 1/2 an inch from you and he's lifting you up with raw strength, especially if its rampage doing that.

Another thing I hear people say is that Lidell's punches and feet movement is better, but Lidell did land a lot of good hits on rampage in their last fight, the only thing is Rampage weathered through it and through a lot of punches himself and wobbled him.

Is Lidell better now because somehow his punches have become a lot stronger? I donno, watching that Silva vs Rampage fight made me think that he's nigh on impossible to knock out. The guy ate i think close to 30 knees that fight and a dozen punches all in the same succession and the guy was still standing (wobbling, but still standing).

Lidell is known for knocking people out with his power, but what can he do against somehow who can take his hits? and not only that, possibly hit just as hard or harder than him, and can physically lift him from his feet without much effort?

Remember guys, Rampage didn't do much shooting in that match with Lidell, he simply lifted his ass up after having punched him or clinched him.

If this is the old rampage with the same strategy as the last fight, I don't see chuck winning this.

Liddell, his striking is much better his takedown defence has improved and Page has been slowing down lately. Rampage is my fav fighter but i do not think he will win BUT if he shows up like classic Rampage Jackson he should get the victory.

Shogun Tko'd his ass pretty bad too. But the thing that gave Page the problems was the clinch work and knees from those vicious Chute box guys. Chuck doesnt have those weapons in his arsenal. Nothing against Chuck, that just isnt his stregnth. His stregnth is his hands and his shins. And he isnt going to be throwing many kicks because he will be afraid of the takedown. Which is a bad idea because last time even Dana was saying Chuck must throw kicks and cant stand there and box with Rampage. If he has the same gameplan he will get the same result. A straight up BEATDOWN!!
