Bones just looked like a bigger version of Silva out there tonight vs Shogun, i think he would take him. The size/strength advantage plus his superior wrestling would take Silva.
I still want to see GSP/Silva, which is a fight i believe GSP would win.

Oh come on. Jones hasn't fought most of the top guy's in his weight division, how would this be a super fight?

jbj is too well rounded for silva, and he has the huge size/reach advantage. the destruction of shogun was expected, but still amazing.

The difference is see that unpredictably jones has, silva has that but when he lands its all power.

he just beat shogun and it's clear he will completely outclass everyone else now. I didn't believe in Jones before but he manhandled the champ.. Machida, Evans, Rampage will all get pushed around. I say give him Silva before Silva retires. Who realistically has a chance against JBJ and his size advantage?

I really thought cardio was going to be the huge issue in this fight. But I think it really came down to Jones landing some really devastating strikes in the second and third, both standing and on the ground.
Shogun was wobbled so many times. Jones strikes were just so fast and powerful.

I agree completely. Lets have this amazing super fight while Silva is in his prime.
IMO Silva is too big for GSP, and I dont understand why GSP would move up 15 lbs when he is god-like at 170.
Silva vs Jones ASAP!

I was going to make the same topic. Forget GSP/Silva. Make Jones vs. Silva happen.
We are seeing a whole new breed of fighters. GSP and Silva and now John Bones Jones.

I may be buying too much into the hype of Jones, but I think he would beat Anderson Silva. I think the size of Jones would be too much for Silva; in all but one of Silva's UFC fights he has had the reach advantage. (except for Thales Leites)
