Spoiler-To all shogun fans
I don't like shogun but i wanted him to win. For those who watched shogun career minus the domination by jones but did shogun gas or something? Or was that all jones? I did not want to bet on this fight due to the ring rust, etc.

Kinda tired of people saying he gassed. That is not what happened.
Hes on the bottom doing fairly well threatening with subs and trying to avoid damage
Jones freakin drilled him when he was standing up and had him hurt. Shogun was no the same after.
Being hurt is not being gassed.

It could have been ring rust, it could be the pounding and running in to strike Jones that gassed him, it could also have been internal injuries, because Jones was working those stomach and liver shots.

Don't get mad at this post...i'm just trying to process how someone like jones could make shogun look like that. The last time he looked like that was against forrest.

I am a MASSIVE Shogun fan but I am not one for excuses. Shogun didn't gas, he has rocked multiple times and Jones had his forearm on his neck most on the time the fight was on the ground.

We'll find out later but I suspect Jones hit him with a nasty knee to the liver in the second and that was it.
Shame Bas wasn't calling it.

Are you really going to be that guy that goes around with excuses? Shogun lost and he was destroyed tonight, not because he gassed not because of he knee. He just lost.
