Fair play to him for acknowledging Jones' performance.
1. But that response, about a possible game plan for fighting against Jones: "i know how to fight him...i train(ed) with him".
Someone should tell Rashad: that goes the other way around also
Jones training with Rashad = he knows Rashad's strong points and weaknesses.
BUT, while Rashad is pretty predictable in his fights, Jones is anything but predictable. There is no way you could replicate his style trying to prepare for a fight against him.
And on top of this, Jackson knows more about Rashad, than Rashad does. And guess who gets to find out that information?!
2. The way he said *he's done* with Jackson, it sounded and looked like he has nausea or something. Not too nice.
Why would Jackson have The Champion look for a new camp.
And not just a champion: a very young and extremely talented fighter - a special fighter.
I don;t know if you watched "In The Moment", but you can clearly see there is a great bond between him and Jackson.
Both Phil Nurse and Greg Jackson know what they've stumbled upon. And they don't intend to let it out of their hands.
With the risk of sounding *too biased* - it's almost like they discovered the biggest diamond ever and now they are trying to work with it, giving it the perfect form.
Not at all really, at least recently. Apart from Jones, there are the likes of:
All of them have finished their opponents lately.
And they're exciting to watch.
(+ Carwin, who is recovering)
