The thread is if "prime" Tito could beat "prime" ken, not what they are doing these days.

Both these guys in there "prime" we're top notch fighters and I dont think you can argue that.

Ken was just no good at 205. He put on all of his best performances at HW. Fujita, Frye, Otsuka, and Kimo. He had that extra bounce in his step (except when he gassed against Fujita)and he just seemed to be overall in better shape.

I don't think he could beat Tito at 205. Ken just looked so gaunt and weak at 205 and it seems like night and day compared to whenhe fights at HW.

Shamrock (either one) in their prime would beat Tito...Easily

I would say Ken as well because of his monstrous strength at heavywegiht(he muslced around guys who weighed much more).

But realize that the 205 cut took a lot out of him. When Ken walked out with a burger, I actualyl thought they were fighting at heavyweight. But no matter, we can never know. And also, we havent seen Tito's prime yet. So he may develop hugely. This is all jsut speculation.

have you people seen the tito ortiz and frank shamrock fight? tito was beating the shit out of frank until he gased and from that day on he vowed he would never gas again and turned himself into a cardio freak so exactly how do you see frank winning since he wouldnt be able to outlast tito knee him to the back of the head?

The first fight was awesome, without a doubt. Ortiz really showcased his boxing, and he put the hurtin' on Shamrock pretty badly. Shamrock, to his credit, was able to scramble a couple of times and get to his feet, but it was all Ortiz. That was also the most vicious I've seen of Tito's ground and pound.
