i wouldnt say tito was beating the shit out of frank, bc frank was doing ALOT of work on the ground, and he outmatched him on the stand up, especially during the last round. it went from being kind of an even fight to tito getting dominated lol. still one of my favorite fights of all time.

Tito did fight Frank in his prime. Frank won.
Nowadays, who knows?

Where have we even seen evidence of his cardio being all that great? He sure as hell looked gassed agains Chuck last time.
He didn't lose to Frank only because of cardio, not matter what UFC says to try and sell their former champ as a contender. Fact is Frank was better standing, outworked him on the ground despite the takedowns, and ended up beating his head in.
But we always hear the story about how "Ortiz vowed he'd never gas again!" What evidence have we ever, ever seen that his cardio's so damn superior to anyone else's?
I don't blame UFC for using the whole thing as a backstory to help lend an aura to a popular fighter. But I think a lot of fans know it's just a line. At least I hope so.

ken is in my top 10 fav fighters but even i can admit that tito wins. In there primes ken was much quicker than he is now but his old style was much like tito's now. Tito is stronger than ken. So tito win the wresling and ken on his back is horrible (so is tito but it dosnt matter). Ken was great has some great fights and is a great fighter and so far looks good as a trainer in the IFL.

But tito is better.

I agree, he hasn't shown to have such great cardio that he is hyped to have. Anyway, Ken Shamrock would have easily defeated Tito in his prime.
