What did he do? He foolishly gave up the mount postion for an attempt at an armbar. ANYBODY with some seasoning in big fights would have finished Anderson right there and then from the mount.

3)BJ beating Anderson? Possible. BJ is a VERY good striker. He is not given enough credit for that. The only reason Hughes beat him is because BJ gased and gased badly.

4)In conclusion though I think that weight is much to heavy for BJ to fight in.
Correction: BJ did not gas he separated his rib. Also the Silva was not close to getting stopped by Lutter. Lutter landed like one lackluster punch, all the other ones missed then he got bucked off.

You people really are not very smart...Silva openly stated that he wanted to fight Lutter on the ground. He said that he's been working on his BJJ like crazy and he went into the fight with every intention of taking the fight to the ground.

BJ Penn would get f***ing worked by Silva and if you think otherwise you're an idiot.

And we all know that fighting BJ on the ground is flirting with death. I know that Silva has a black belt from the Nogueria brothers, but this is BJ Penn were talking about.......he's on a whole other level.
Wow I cant believe I never though about this fight. This would be a great PPV card even with BJ's weight diffrence. He's done worst before(Ryoto). I think BJ could definantly beat Silva. Although Lutter is a good wrestler his take downs are so sloppy and he took down anderson at will. Silva isnt a sprawl and brawler like liddell is he seems to be willing to go to the floor with his opponents. If BJ gets silva to the floor than its over for silva.

Did you ever think that he might choose a different game plan against BJ?

Duh...

Christ you people have limited cognitive capabilities...you must poke yourselves in the eye a lot.

ome people claim mental superiority yet show a severe lack of their own cognitive ability...

he's being as ignorant as those who think Anderson is a walkthrough for Penn. this is a fight that would headline a PPV and show us all how MMA is supposed to look!
