Very interesting fight.

(is it just me or is there alot of silva Vs...posts???)

A lot similar to the Lutter Vs Silva fight bar the fact that Hughes could take Silva down and keep him there. Wouldn't want to bet on this one

i keep hearing people say blah blah blah Travis was weak from cuttin weight therefore Silva blows, but why do people keep discarding the fact that Anderson Silva had SURGERY and did not fully recover?

Yeah the Lutter was cutting weight arguement really isnt a good one. For one thing Anderson had to cut weight too the only difference is he actually made it. Granted he wasnt cutting as much as Travis. Secondly, Lutter weighed in on Friday a day is plenty of time to recover from weight cutting.

I think Matt would be able to get the takedown pretty easy and use his stregnth and superior wrestling to control Silva on the ground. I am not sure if Matt could submit Silva but I wouldnt doubt it considering he almost snapped off Royce's arm. Silva would obviously have a chance at knocking out Matt but with a striker like Silva, I dont think Matt would be stupid like he was against GSP and try and strike with him. I think Hughes woould take this either by TKO in the 3rd or 4th or by UD.

I think Matt has a really good chance of beating silva. Matt's strenght is his wrestling and that is Silva's weakness so if Matt can take him down he could finish him off from there, maybe even submit him or at least win by decision.

It would definetly be a good fight...... Silva is a much better striker but Hughes is better on the ground.

Very true, but same could be said about Hughes standing with Silva
