Exactly.
People get this "stay alive" strategy going and sure they may win some fights or keep the belt. But sooner or later everyone will hate them for it. Tim Sylvia is the biggest example.

I will agree with you there.

Of course I do not want to see fighters using the lay n' pray tactic, but I am just saying that if you are losing and you know you can take the guy down, why not do it?

Suck in your pride and squeak out a victory if you must. Then go back to the drawing board and figure out where you went wrong and train your ass off.

P.S. Sorry if I sounded like an ass during my last post. I was offended by your comments.

No worries, I am a total ass on here sometimes. So im sorry also.. but youre right. As long as you dont keep doing it then its ok.
I suppose if you HAVE to, but you work it out in training then its ok and it happens.
Its when people make a streak of it i really get bothered.
