Bisping has never shown humility hell the guy even manages to remain cocky when talking about Dan Henderson knocking his head off his shoulders.

....Because apart from squirting a water bottle at someone he's never done anything wrong.
winning a bad decision doesn't warrant the hate he gets and as far as nationalism.... I think Americans are more blinded by there hatred of him because of his nationality that we are supportive.
He's a middle of the road fighter who gets targeted pretty much for being British and having his own opinion, there are so many Americans who do the same thing pre and post fight.
Self promotion is something all fighters do, it's just a shame people want to make exceptions when it comes to Bisping.

It was a horrible decision that he should have lost and while that is not his fault he could have been classy and showed Hammill some respect saying he was a tough guy and what not but instead he mouthed off telling the guy who just whooped his ass to go back to wrestling.

Yeah. I don't understand all the American hate for England. They founded our frickin' country for starters and gave us our language. And when it comes times to go to war, England sends soldiers to help, and we do the same. They are our best friend in the world - brothers.

Why can I not hate an English fighter without hating all of England. When people here hate on GSP all the Canadians don't start accusing them of hating Candada. When I hate on Rampage the Americans don't accuse me of hating them. We hate him for who he is not where he came from.

Perhaps I was not clear, but I was referring to nationalist pride among Bisping's supporters, not his haters.

I am american and I have no idea what you are talking about. Americans in general don't dislike england, if anything they're america's distant cousins. I've been to england and other parts of the UK, and I loved it. their women have hot accents and those guys make some good beer. Michael Bisping is a huge dick and I hate him, and its not because he's british. In fact I like many british fighters such as: paul daley, dan hardy, lee murray and ross pearson.

British fighters are in fact popular in america and ill tell you why.. Its because those guys don't have a lot of wrestlers and all their guys are strikers. Not all can be winners though, in fact in a good bunch there is always one douchebaggy bitch without knockout power.

I strongly disagree. I really want to know why so many British people are paranoid about Americans hating them. For the most part Americans in general don't have a strong opinion of any countries except for middle eastern countries, China, Mexico, and used to of Japan.
A lot of people started hating on Bisping because of how much praise and support he got from British MMA fans (no not his fault but it happens). Its like half the country started worshipping the guy because he was British and was in the UFC. He didn't even do anything besides win TUF but was easily the most popular British fighter and at the time was way over rated. Its died down now and he has proven to be pretty good but the blind British support far out did the blind American hate. People tend to hate on fighters if they don't think they deserve what they have, thats where a good amount of Lesnar hate is from, BJ Penn has haters because of his title shots, heck Randy even has some haters because of his title shots.

Seriously why do so many people think Americans hate British fighters soley based on them being British? You don't see them saying that about fighters from other countries.

Bisping never did anything to me. Hate is a powerful emotion and a lot of wasted energy in my opinion. I actually had a rather pleasant conversation with Bisping over twitter awhile back. Fact is...nobody here is in any position to judge anyone. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion and they don't have to justify it to anyone.
