that's y I dont really understand when ppl discredit AS for walkin at 230lbs but competing at 185.Dude aint usin wrestling to beat opponents hes using striking.Due to the massive cut that has to be zappin alot of his strength yet ppl want to act like hes cheating the system

I am a kenny fan, but I hope he is doing the right thing for himself. I have a mental image of him looking like a mini-Skeletor at 145. The guy was on TUF as a middle-weight. He was obviously never a middle-weight, but when was the last time we ever heard of a guy dropping 3 weight classes?

That's a tough one to call. First he's got to get by a pretty dangerous Nunes, that'll be a good test for that weight class.

KenFlo has talent and a very good resume of fighters he's beaten. Gomi, Guida, Lauzon, Stout, Stevenson, Huerta..

These guys aren't slouches but Aldo is a better striker than all of them. It'll be a good fight, I won't count him out but I don't see him getting the belt with ease.

I don't think anorexic Kenny is necessarily the answer to Kenny's career troubles, but whatever Kenny.

Hard work is the only real PED.

I think the big mystery factor here, is how such a dominant Muay Thai fighter, deals with Florian who now has a pretty good jab! It is going to be quick, rangy and pop out there and really mess up Aldos rythem along with help Kenny set up other moves off of it.

I actually give Kenny a chance of winning this one and if Aldo walks straight through him like he is doing to all the current FWs, then all props to him!

I don't even think Kenny will beat Nunes and he's already thinking of the title? I think he's going to realize very fast that he's got no strength or speed advantage in this division and move back to 155. His problem isn't his weight class, he just choked against Maynard. He was losing to BJ, but he wasn't at all out of that fight until he got choked out. It seems his actual problems revolve around choking.

Typical smug Kenny shit right there. Can he win? Possibly.

But, to say he'll grab the belt and move back up, as if the existing FW's are worth nothing? What a knob.

I've never liked Florian. He has an ego that is far in excess of actual ability. Fair enough, all fighters are like this to a degree... but Florian is up there with Mir for the title of smugest twat in the UFC.

@hammerlock
I dont think his problem is choking. He's simply found his level. A top 5 LW, who doest have the tools to go any further. He didnt choke... he got beat. Plain and simple.

Kenny will take this fight.

I don't find Aldo worthy of even 20% of the hype he is getting. The guy has literally taken a 1 handed Faber to a decision, knocked out Manny (who hasn't? Rob Emerson knocked him out in 12 seconds), and defeated Brown. You know who else defeated Brown? Manny, who knocked him out in the first round.

Literally, that's it, that's his entire career. It's not that impressive, in fact, it's the single weakest, unimpressive resume of any champion the UFC has.

Kenny will defeat him.

You may very well be right Carson. Still makes him a bit of a twat for saying this stuff out loud.

He may as well have worded it "Oh, ill just pop in at 145, and dabble with those fools for a bit. Then, once Ive pwned them, I'll just jump back up to 155 where the serious business is." ... at least that would have been mildly amusing.

Ahhh... who am I kidding. I dont like Florin no matter what he says! Its his head, you see. FAR too big.... literally.
