Yeah seriously. GSP hasn't really TKO'd anyone since Serra and Shields is immeasurably better/more resistant than him.


Personally I think Shields will steal a surprising round or two convincingly but lose the overall decision. Koscheck held GSP down for a little while I'm positive Shields can do the same, maybe keeping busy with sub attempts or something.

Jake is probably the worst standup fighter GSP will face in his career. If he really doesn't put him away, he won't ever finish somebody again in my honest opinion.

GSP can really punch you hard and against Jake he doesn't need to fear anything standing up. Also Jake isn't as athletic as Kos for example, so even the Takedown fear is not really big in my eyes. Kos almost vasted his entire energy to get GSP to the ground at least once. Why didn't he tried again after that? Cause he knew how hard it was!

I am 100% sure GSP will stop Jake. You should throw combinations after combinations and at one point Jake will be exhausted so much, that the referee needs to stop it late in the third or fourth round is my pick.

I can't see him KO Jake with one punch but rather keep punching him undefended to a TKO.

This even in the Mayhem fight Shields looked tired in the later rounds, he was tired from making weight against Kampmann and the combination of the weight cut and the fact that GSP is a phenomenal wrestler will compound that. I don't expect that Shields is gonna have much in the tank in the championship rounds.

Would love to see GSP revert to the fighter he used to be, with fists flying, kicks landing - striking with combos and put Shields away.

Aldo should finish Hominick rather easily IMO. He's fought better, faster, tougher opponents.

I see Shields losing and both Diaz's getting KO'ed/TKO'd this month. Not a good month for the Cesar Gracie team.

I want machida to win but something tells me Randy despite my dislike for him still fighting will win via decision.

I want Shields to win but his performance against hendo getting ROCKED and his last fight with Kapman was far from deserving of a title bout. But of course we all know title shots are just thrown to whoever can draw more , GSP couldnt finish KOS going into the 2nd round with visibility from one eye only and bored out a decision i see GSP doing nothing but the same.

Henderson TKO i think lady luck will be on his side and he'll get a dominate position and pound out the win...

Is it me or is GSP title fights the most boring MMA ? Sure he wins but really if you compare to current and past champions of different weight classes you see where he fits and it isnt anywhere near the top....The only good thing from this event is if he wins he's gonna be infront of 30,000+ fans awaiting .."
