No troll thread guys^^ It's an honest question

You probably know that I am a huge Anderson Silva Fan, but does he really make it out of the second Round maybe even the first round with such a unqiue and strong submission artist?

I truly believe he would lose to him today!

I know Andy is a very legit Black Belt himself, but do you really believe he could still defend ones this fight hit's the ground?

it's all about matchups, you know that guys! Anderson is the greatest today!

If he could get it to the ground, sure he could, then again he seems to be in utter shock if he doesn't get his leglock on the first try... watch Marquard vs Palhares and Palhares vs Branch

Thats a very good point Mirage

I completely overlooked his mental game when I made this thread.

I'd say that's probably the biggest mismatch of the fight, including standup.

Palhares starts to choke when he doesn't get his sub vs Silva who gets pummeled for 4.5 rounds then pulls of a miracle sub.

He would get knocked out before the fight hit the ground.

He's also a really dirty fighter and the shit he pulled in the Marquardt fight was just embarrassing.

I hope this man never becomes champion. He's really, really dirty.

I was just watching this. he's a definitely one of the slickest BJJ guys out there.

It's complete bullshit how he has been robbed of "Sub Of The Night" against linhares and branch

I also disagree completely that he breaks when he doesn't get a sub.

Yep, that could very well make him lose against almost everyone in the top 5 as well right now. Let's see if he can improve here in the future.

I really don't believe anymore that this could somehow be prevented in the near future.

He has a great Feestyle shot actually and if he get's a hold of Andy there is only one way.. down.

I hate his antics and bitch moves as well!

Silva is incredibly rangey and would light Palhares up pretty quick. Mental weakness as pointed out is definitely a deficient aspect of Palhares' game.

I'd love to see a Marquardt rematch just to shut people up that it was a fluke, but there's way better matchups at 185.

Toquino reminds me of Paulo Filho. Anybody can beat anybody on any given day..."almost."

I would like to see Demian vs Toquino. There are only a couple of fights left we all want to see.

1.) GSP
2.) Yushin Okami

Move up to LHW

Current title holder

Then retire.
