UFC's FW Division

Featherweight is quickly becoming quite a deep division and I can see some really interesting fights for Jose in the future.

Joe Daddy could be a beast, or really drained, either way the potential is definitely there.
Tyson Griffin is also a seriously good fighter and is also a very proven fighter, but like Joe, he's had a tough time in his last few fights.
Kenny Florian is a beast, although very skinny at LW i think he will still be able to be effective at FW.

These are three former contenders in the LW division, the UFC's most stacked.

Add in Diego Nunes, Korean Zombie, Hominick and Eric Koch and you have the beginnings of what's going to be a scary division.

Who do you think will do well this year and will Jose prevail? I think so!

FW division has always been pretty deep, every1 just loves to say that it sucks because they cant name more than 2 fighters in the division, sure it will get deeper and deeper since more and more LWs will start dropping

but i think the talent at FW is ridiculous, sure they might not all be competitive at LW but the actual skill that these guys have is impressive

compare the skills of most FWs to other divisions, FWs will usually come out on top, most FWs are very well rounded, good striking, wrestling and bjj, and a never ending cardio, there are so many fighters like this yet ppl think its easy to do what aldo has done

FWs lack size so they naturally try and compensate with technique, wich makes for very entertaining fighters, especially when comepared to the awful techniques of HWs

in other words, FW rules!

Kenny is going to cause huge problems for everyone at 145, he looked a weight class smaller than Grey when they fought and it showed in the fight.

I expect Kenny to look great in his first fight and take the title from Aldo shortly after.

I've been impressed with Dustin Poirier and Josh Grispi.

I don't like Stevenson's chances, Griffin I think stands a little bit of a better chance. It's when another top ten guy like Frankie Edgar or Clay Guida drop down the division is going to look really good.

I was floored to hear Tyson Griffin was dropping to FW. Along with Joe Daddy he's a stocky fighter at LW. I'm not loving some of my favorite LW's dropping to FW. Ahh well.

Aldo will dominate this division until he moves to LW, in 2 years time or so.

Josh Grispi loses one fight and everyone forgets about him... How sad.
