I find him to be arrogant , He has been in the weakest division/ or one of for a while and has faced barely any wrestlers in there wonder why i respect his style but for me personally im not a fan of fighters who wait for the other guy to commit before they do.
This is a common thought about Silva, that he is afraid to pull the trigger first. Absolute nonsense.

Belfort fight for example, people moaned about Silva's hesitancy in that fight, nothing happening for the first couple minutes. But the kick came out of nowhere, not set up, and was looking for the knock out - and it was a strike that rarely achieves KOs. That is pure aggression, just because it didn't happen in the first minute, doesn't mean he's hesitant.

Can't wait to see this documentary, he is the best UFC Champion ever.

Very true. Read an interview in Fighters Only magazine, he seems like a down to earth dude who just loves a scrap. I liked his face better before when it looked like a cauliflower ear with a crooked face drawn on! Especially when he smiled.

I think people on this board take everything LITERALLY , i obviously dont mean he waits EVERY TIME for the other guy but MOST of the time HE DOES.

Also i dont think he threw the Front Kick to KO Belfort , now before you go ape shit , obviously he intended it to hit him in the face and hurt but i dont believe he threw as a fight finisher but more as a surprise attack to throw Belfort off guard Thats just my opinion again.

Yes Statistically he is the greatest no can argue its a fact I JUST DONT THINK HE IS personally.

I know you didn't mean it literally, you meant that you think overall, he tends to wait.

I think he is very aggressive, not as much as he used to be, but the reason he pulls off the stuff he does is because he takes the time to work his opponent out. Then when he does use his aggression it is very calculated and effective, rather than doing it straight away and having to try multiple times.

My perception of Silva is that he seems like a cool guy. The perception of fighters are messed up because we only see what the media wants us to see. I do think he is the best fighter, overall, that has came along so far. There may have been fighters who might have had higher peaks, but he's been consistent like no other. He is one of the few top, pure martial artist left in the sport also. I don't think he's in a weak division because there aren't too many wrestlers, and lets not fool ourselves thinking any wrestler could do what Sonnen could do. Sonnen, P4P, is probably one of the most aggressive and best wrestlers in MMA. Sonnen could take anyone down at 185 especially if he's juicing.
