Either Silva, Jones, or someone else, thinks that these two may fight at some point and has decided they don't want it to happen, this person is obviously not true to the sport and is very selfish and scared.

Well, Jones has stated very often that Anderson Silva is essentially his idol. So I can see why they wouldn't want to fight.
Don't like the fight either way, Jones is still a young, up and coming guy trying to prove himself. He doesn't deserve a superfight with Silva.

Silva is definitely a top guy for people to fight... but Jones is THE top guy. Even Cain talked about Jones...
In any case, because Jones is so dominant (in part, because of his size/strength), I'd rather see him fight heavy weights if he's going out of 205.

Anderson vs Jones would be the biggest PPV sale the UFC has ever seen, at least pretty close to it.
Jones has a lot of advantages over Silva. Silva has no reason not to fight him other than that he might lose. This is fair enough though as Jones is the biggest man in the weightclass above Silvas.

Maybe Anderson realizes that his legacy is established as one of the greatest of all time, the best Middleweight in history by miles, and he likes Jones? That he doesn't HAVE to fight Jones? I follow both on twitter and I noticed they were chatting with each other, being very respectful of the other.
If you ever saw one of the video blogs, Jones and Silva were backstage before the pre-fight press conference joking around for UFC 126.
It's very much possible they're friends. It'd be an awesome fight for sure, but it's not like Jon Jones/Anderson Silva is the only super fight out there.

I hope DW steps up, fighters gonna have to cut the crap on the whole "I never fight a friend" attitude
OR
Get the best of the "friend group" on the UFC, 1 per weight class, the others can play in SF or WEC stuff, if they don't wanna fight friends, that's how it can be done, if they want to be in UFC either they change weight class, either they agree to fight ANYBODY
what a bunch of spoiled brats, I hate this attitude, this, ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna ruin the sport

This fight would still be leagues away even if they both agreed on fighting each other. I am a huge JBJ fan and would love to see two exciting fighters get it on, but from a realistic perspective, you need JBJ to defend the belt a couple times before he starts facing competition outside of his division.
Silva also said before that he has no intention of fighting in the LHW and the only reason he fought there before, is because Dana kind of forced him to because he didn't have much competition at MW.
We will see GSP vs Silva before there is even a possibility of JBJ facing Silva.

Dominant? THE top guy?
The guy hasn't even defended his title yet.
Shit, Silva has as many CONSECUTIVE wins in the UFC as Jones has in his entire ******* career.

You guys can hate on silva but from his point of view what is the point of fighting jones and taking his belt. After he wins it does he give it up because no chance in hell of him fighting his brother lyoto. Lyoto will be next in line for that belt at some point. Its funny how everyone jumps on the jones vs silva bangwagon. But for the past 2 years gsp vs silva was the fight everyone wanted to see. Yet people don't want to see it after silva killed vitor. But were all for it when silva did what he did to maia and chael. Realistically jones vs silva is an amazing fight. But logically the two guys who have been p4p for the past 2 years is the fight to see. What happens if jones beats silva and gsp wins his next 7 fights. Is jones p4p or would gsp be? I may not like gsp but anyone who thinks silva would smash him is crazy. Size does not matter in mma you people should know this. If cain can absolute destroy lesnar then gsp has a real good chance of beating silva.
