NBC Sports Power Rankings
Here's the link:
UFC Power Ranking by NBC Sports
P4P:
1. Liddell
2. GSP
3. CC
...and the list goes on...
IMO, I would put GSP or CC ahead of Liddell ...

All three fighters have done incredibly well in their fights. I would have a tie at #1 with GSP and Chuck. CroCop didn't do that well in his most last loss against Hunt, where he got outplayed.

thats great. ask anyone on this forum and BJ will be very high on their P4P list. A very close split decision loss to GSP, a win and a loss vs. hughes, and he beat gomi. so lets review, in the WW division BJ barely lost to the reigning champ (GSP won via lay and pray. watch it again if you dont agree), he beat the "best champion in UFC history" matt hughes, and he beat Gomi, the Pride Lightweight champion. And now that he's moving to LW, BJ will win the UFC LW belt. anyone that can move through that many quality opponents in different divisions is a great P4P fighter.
EDIT: and i forgot to mention he went up to LHW to fight ryoto machida and took him to decision. BJ is best suited at LW or WW...and he took a great fighter in the 205 division to a decision. further proving that BJ is a great P4P fighter.

Rankings are based on well fighters have done recently. BJ Penn is an incredible fighter but hasn't had the best of luck lately.

I agree that Rashad Evans belongs in top 5 for LHW, but not number 2 at least until he fights someone like tito or Sobral. Dont get me wrong, hes a badass fighter and one of my favorites, but I guess well see as soon as he gets the title shot.
For the the LW division I would like to think Din Thomas or Kenny Florian woul be up there.
For HW I think Vera shouldnt be ahead of Arlosvski.
I would like to see the writer of that post his top 10 i'm sure BJ would be on there and if not that guy is wacthing something totally different than what I see.

I see several problems with the rankings:
1. Franca ahead of Penn in LW. (Penn would smash Franca)
2. Tim Sylvia ahead of Cro Cop in HW. (I guess cause Sylvia has the belt, but we all know Cro Cop is #1)
3. Evans #2 LHW. (Should be 4th at best)
4. Liddell #1 P4P. (Should be GSP, CC, Liddell)
