UFC 132: Tito Ortiz Feels He Matches up Well With Ryan Bader

"I think (Ryan Bader and I) match up really really well. He only has one loss on his record. He's a tough kid, really great wrestler; his stand up skills are fairly decent. His ground game is ok. I think I have my (work) cut out for me. I have to be in great shape and I have to press the pace."

"I haven't had a win since 2006. But people have to understand, watch all the fights I have lost. I lost them by a little bit. I fought Forrest Griffin the second time, I thought I beat him two rounds to one. When I fought Rashad (Evans), I thought I beat him, but they took a point away, made it a draw, I didn't think I grabbed the fence. I’m competing against the top guys of the world, each and every time. There's never no gimmies and I want to thank Dana and Joe Silva who give me these matches to show I'm still competing against the top guys in the world."

(About his past contract disputes) "People have to understand, I have to take care of my family. I make the difference that other fighters are afraid to do. (MMA) is a business. If you think of it as just fighting, you're going to be lost and forgotten about like a Matt Hughes. You have to become a role model and an inspiration to a lot of these fighters, knowing what to do, as a business man."

lol he always takes shots at someone in his interviews but anyway WAR TITO!!

I don't see him beating Bader, although I'll admit he's done well in his fights against Hamill and Forrest. Bader's just a little too similar in style, he's faster and more powerful.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

I think Tito takes this if he is really healthy!

I was impressed by his performance against Matt Hamill, but I think he should face Lil Nog, because both are in somewhat must win situations.

Tito has much better BJJ than Bader and is technically a better striker. I think if Tito wants to stand he will eventually get caught. On the ground Bader just better hope he never ends up on bottom again because man fish out of water just doesn't cover it.

Bader is going to win this by decision. Tito has no area where he's better than Bader.

Kinda hope the original "Huntington Beach Bad Boy" wins. Tito was always an entertaining fighter, but ya gotta really wonder how he feels right now. He hasn't won in how many year now...

The only thing Tito has goign for him is his cardio. He got outstruck by Matt Hamill. He couldn't take him down either. Bader is a legitimate wrestler who is going to be bigger, heavier, and stronger than Tito come fight time.

I see Bader taking this.

Bader is basically Tito 5 years ago only with better wrestling and better, more powerful stand up.

Tito will have a hard time defending the TD whilst out striking Bader, however I don't think a submission win is off the cards for Tito.
