Honestly I bet JDS and his camp are hoping Brock shoots early. JDS' uppercut is absolutely destructive, and I'd be willing to bet Lesnar catches one on the very first shot.

Who's to say that JDS won't come out like BJ Penn did against Fitch and go for an immediate take-down just to mindf*ck his opponent and beat him at his own game?

And as I said, Brock took them all down. Gonzaga also took Junior down if i remember correctly though i do recall him getting straight back to his feet.

I believe, strongly, that Brock will be able to get Junior down and keep him there. I will be mightily impressed if Junior can stave of ANY of Brocks shots, and give him credit for it, but i just dont see him stopping them all - and Brock only needs one. WHEN Brock gets him down i think the fight will look alot like Mir 2.

Brock should be the favourite in this fight. Junior has infinitely better standup than Brock, but so has everyone he has faced. Brocks wrestling (with the exception of the Cain fight, which was down to his mistakes just as much as Cains abilities) allows him to dictate were the fight goes. Juniors boxing will become irrelvent when he is on his back with a 265 Division 1 National Champion controlling him and punching him in the face.

I do appreciate what you're saying with regards to people underestimating Junior's wrestling because he has no amateur wrestling accolades. This is a valid point to some extent, but the fact that he hasnt wrestled anywhere near as long as Brock, Cain etc does come into it. GSP is an exception - i doubt Junior has that kind of ability hiding behind his boxing.

Everything i say is speculation, i may well be proven completely wrong, but i would bet the house on Lesnar. But i appreciate you're a big JDS fan, and i respect your opinion. (I am actually a big Junior fan too, i've even met him, and he's a really nice guy).

Lesnar definitely might end up taking Junior down and staying ontop of him, who knows.

All I know is when Bruce Buffer is announcing JDS' name and he throws the gauntlet down at Brock, I'm gonna be going crazy.

Well played sir

If i could be bothered, i would insert a GIF of Brock taking down Carwin, and the MULTIPLE ones of him taking down Herring then completely and utterly bitching him on the ground for basically 15 minutes, with only a brief interlude so as to break his face.

But i cant. I'm sure you can remember well enough though.

I cannot wait for this fight.
