Vitor already had an undeserved shot at the title,
now he wants another?
Is he crazy or what?
Get back in the line and earn your spot.

LOL! I like Belfort but couldn't disgree with him more. The guy threw a kick intending it to hit you in the face. It hit you in the face. Where's the luck in that? Vitor will have to earn his way back up the ladder. Many were already not happy that he was granted a title fight since it was actually his first MW appearance in the UFC.

That kick has been hugely over hyped, I have said it before and I will say it again, Anderson Silva did nothing to impress me in that fight, he is lucky to still be champ, been the best fighter in the division is not what is keeping him the gold atm.

I have said this before also, I believe his days are very close to an end and don't believe he will defend his title another 2 times, there are fighters better than him out there is just a matter of time before one of them take the belt.

Also I can see what he is saying, its not the fact the kick was lucky, its the fact that Anderson did nothing else Victor was the aggressor and was having the better fight until that single shot won it, and there is a element of luck in and flash KO, Anderson proved only that he is always going to be dangerous due to his ability to KO you in what quick shot, what he did not show is that he was the better fighter overall.

The only guy deserving a rematch with Silva is Sonnen and if he has to climb the ladder then Vitor should , he hasnt even beaten a MW yet in the UFC and got KTFO no luck about it and its not like he was winning either he doesnt have a leg to stand on to be quite frank.

What? So Anderson Silva is the more dangerous fighter and can KO you at any time (and did), but wasn't the best fighter overall? You weren't impressed by a high push kick KO?

Detractors act like before Silva got the KO, Belfort was all over him. When he did nothing at all significant other than catch a kick.

You guys don't get it. Silva waited for his moment and struck. The fact that he wasn't 'busy' is irrelevant. He was the better fighter because he won.

When Hannibal fought the Romans at Cannae, the Romans were the aggressors and pushed the Carthaginians back into a crescent. But it was a trap, Hannibal enclosed the crescent and killed 50,000 Romans. The Romans didn't win the battle.

I agree with everything except the part about Anderson being better on the basis he won , because that in some cases can be the opposite.

Is it just me or does Belfort give too many interviews and not enough fights?

Todd Duffe vs Mike Russow rings a bell.

I wouldn´t call that a push kick.

Anderson is living on past rep and hype, current form for me is not impressible, I can't wait until someone like Bisping schools him standing and takes the belt form him its going to be fcuking hilarious.

I wouldnt say he is living on past rep , since he does keep winning however i agree that in the past few fights he has looked less invincible and very beatable , Sonnen basically cofirmed what we already knew, wrestlers can beat him and he also showed holes in Silva's stand up game by landing big shots aswell as Maia. The fight with Vitor showed me that you cant just stand in front of Anderson i think you need to either charge him and take him down or throw big shots with your chin down.
