Chael Sonnen made a career on bad mouthing one of the greatest to ever compete in the sport, and for some reason a disturbing amount of people love him for it.
He is trash, and worthless. Honestly, even my disdain for Rampage takes a back seat to this piece of shit. I can honestly say he is the only fighter athlete in the world that I would laugh at if they suffered a career ending injury. Karma has a way of finding people, and I have a feeling even after all this legal stuff it's not done with Chael.
Where as Silva disrespects a completely innocent Demian Maia for 25 minutes in front of the whole world.
Screw that, Anderson turned into a bully and not in a fighting sense. He deserved everything he got from Chael, and what Chael has done is no worse IMO. Anderson is genuine in his arrogance, whereby he wants to humiliate guys like Maia for merely suggesting they will beat him in pre-fight buildup. Chael on the other hand is full of shit, he's a complete smack talker but never actually says anything that
bad. He's disrespectful but it's all a game, a big act, and many people see it for that. It's amusing.
What Silva did to Maia though, that shit wasn't amusing. That was fully intentional and genuine disrespect on the biggest stage of all. You want to get into right and wrong, don't look past Anderson.
