To clarify do you mean who was at their peak the best ? or do you mean who are the best fighters currently now who are retired ?

Strictly in terms of who was the most dominant at their peak:

Although there a ton of fighters almost/maybe retired who will take over this list (Hughes, Couture, Cro Cop, Wand, Big Nog, Fedor etc.)

Yes, he is that good that he is the best 5 retired MMA fighters. Bas is my all time favourite MMA fighter/person in the world. The man is SUCH a legend!! He could tell you enough stories to last a lifetime and if there is one man that I look up to in life.. It's EL GUAPO!!
