Good signing.

Adds depth to a slightly weak division.

Would love to see him fight Bisping, Belcher, Sonnen etc in his first fight.

Bad move for him, I don't see him doing something in UFCs middleweight division, I mean, I like Mayhem a lot, but I think he won't do too well in UFC.

This has been in the works for a long long time I was starting to think he was going to stay in strikeforce.

MMA news is posted to MMAF sooo quick these days.

I'm pumped Miller signed and I think a lot of you are extremely underrating him. The dude is a beast on the ground and standing, I think he'd beat Bisping and others around Bisping's level.

If he goes down to welterweight though I couldn't care less about him. Shields and Mayhem should both be at middleweight, WW is already so damn stacked.

So is this the first of SF fighters whose contract expired and got picked up by the UFC after the buy? Didn't take long.

He'll get somebody like Leben or the winner/loser of Sakara or Rivera maybe. If Dan Miller is still around maybe him. I actually I change my mind. Falcao...should be his welcoming home party.

Whoopity doo, Honestly Mayhem is exciting but he is not a top MW. Everyone myself included rips on Bisping because people call him a top MW. Guess what Mayhem is the Americanized version of Bisping. Mayhems fights against lesser opponents in Japan and his charisma have people baffled by his bull shit. Mayhem should not be fighting the Silva's or Sonnen's he should be fighting the Bisping's, the Akiyama's and the Leben's. Because that is the the level of fighter that Mayhem is. I think Mayhem/Bisping sounds intriguing, Mayhem has the slicker ground game and likely has the better offensive striking with Bisping having the better defensive striking (elusiveness) and better wrestling. Sounds like an exciting fight just not one that should have title implications.

I am stoked about this!

I am surprised by the general consensus that Miller is mediocre. Sure, he might not be top 3 in the division, but he possesses some great skills (esp. in the jj dept).

I would love to see a TUF with Miller/Bisping or Miller/Sonnen. That would be great. He'd likely beat Bisping (IMO).

I think a good first fight would be Leben or Maia.

Signing Mayhem will certainly bring some extra PR-power to the UFC, so good on them

That being said I don't see Miller being much more than average at MW, not that there's anything wrong with that, but he'd have a very hard time against the best the division has to offer

Mayhem is a entertaining fighter to watch. He has a ton of energy and heart...alot like Guida. His trash talking levels are right up there with the best in the UFC too! Great pickup for the UFC...list a fight for him already!
