Chael was 100x more honest, respectable, and revealing in his interview with Mike Straka. Anderson is being the same old Anderson.

I don't see why so many people have a problem with Anderson, he's not arrogant he's mysterious, people confuse these two things. I guarantee he will have many more fans after everyone see's his documentary.

Anderson should already be celebrated as the greatest fighter who ever lived in all combat sports combined!!!

I hope people will call him that someday when MMA reaches world fame!

I don't see anybody who could take that title away from him in the next decades..

I hope that he attends the biggest Sport Events one day as an icon and that he people will feel the same about him as they do when they think about Ali.

Anderson has had many tough fights in his career.

Even with Rich Franklin, who was one of the only fighters in the UFC to have a stand up war with him.

Don't object to that answer at all.

I really have no interest in getting revenge against Yushin Okami. We already fought. He lost. He got knocked out. Let's move on. But really, I'm in here to fight the best, and if he's credentialed to fight me, and he's up there to get a title shot, then he deserves it and we've got to do it."
very mysterious sounds more like an arrogant punk and i love the part "WE'VE GOT TO DO IT" like we should feel sorry for him and its a waste of his time.

I pray Okami wins

Do you really still think that? Is it really Still a matter of opinions only?

Just compare the age of the two and how they fought and how they finished fights and how skilled they are.

Anderson is a land mile away there in almost everything and I don't think thats an opinion anymore, thats a fact in my eyes!

Well its like saying Ali is the greatest because in alot of peoples eyes he isnt , Robinson is.

Fedor to me is the best because he is a small HW beating up bigs guys with an all round game , and is very exciting and is basically i just like the guy more personally so alot of things factor in.

Its the same with ALi he is a great boxer but made more famous because of his actions out the ring which has made him more popular today , Anderson is a great fighter who i dont like and in some of his fights which i have stayed up till 5AM watching and had work the next day have made me feel like its a waste of time and very annoyed so i will always have fonder memories of Fedor than Anderson hence why i think he is the greatest fighter because i was never let down.

Well, Ali was at the top for a very long time just like Silva and Fedor, he lost but so does everybody. And the thing with Ali was, he was playing with his opponents just like Silva. He made it look like he was Worlds apart, just like Silva.. and Fedor?

Fedor is and was a punching bag compared to Anderson Silva.

I mean only look at the fights from both guys. Is that even questionable?

So you are saying you are biased towards Fedor right? Can't you let your bias out and look at this from a neutral perspective?

I don't mind Anderson that much, but I do wonder why he goes out of his way to conjure up 'beef' with certain fighters. Maia keeps tight lipped, and Anderson feels the need to humiliate him because he was somehow 'disrespectful'. Vitor shows him proper respect, to the point where he was adamant about fighting more contenders before stepping into the Octagon with such a unique champion, and Anderson decides there's bad blood between the two. Now, he's doing the same with Okami, who by all accounts has had nothing more to say of Anderson outside of his wanting a crack at the title. And yet I'm reading interviews now where Silva claims that Yushin has been disrespectful and boasts about his victory over the champ, that he should have continued to fight in their initial bout and therefore has no honour, and even that he was KOed anyway and is hence a 'victory' for Anderson. I really don't understand why he goes so far out of his way to get personal with people who genuinely don't seem to warrant such treatment.

Even more mind boggling is that he had NOTHING to say to or against Chael Sonnen, someone who legitimately gave him reason to make it personal. Which leaves me with one conclusion: Anderson Silva is crazy.
