I believe the reason they get their business handled by the same guy before they enter the cage is in large parts to do with st Pierre.
Also Dana White goes mental at the start of the video because even he saw it.
Plus this video is over 2 years old so Miller hasn't 'just come out' with this revelation...
But, while answering some questions other pop up.
1. I love Hughes
coming out and saying: "yes yes, i felt it too"...after the BJ fight = 2 years after his fight with GSP
2. I couldn't find any quote coming from Serra
. It was Hughes who said: "i know Serra mentioned it"...but couldn't find anything honestly.
3. It's funny that Koscheck
(first fight) hasn't mentioned this. Fitch
hasn't said anything about this. Trigg
hasn't said anything about this.
Hell: BJ - first GSP fight
- hasn't said anything about it...strange?!
(i may be wrong, but i couldn't find anything that says he said something)
IMO: "he felt slippery" does not equal greasing.
Marquardt felt *extremely slippery* against Palhares and it turned out to be nothing. And that's f*cking Palhares - who grabbed Nate's leg and couldn't keep a hold of it. And that's his speciality...
And it cost Palhares the win.
The fact is, the only time they caught it on tape was against BJ - and even then the footage showed his corner man aplying a bit of vaseline. It wasn't like he rubbed GSP with a bucket full of it.
And after that fight the athletic comissions said they're gonna pay extra attention to this.
The result ---> 3 fights, 3 dominating victories.
This will remain a SUBJECT for decades.
