Entrance Music

I have watched UFC since the first. This doesn't just apply to UFC but all MMA orgs. and fighters. I just seem to notice it more with UFC.

Why is it that alot of fighters seem to come out to shitty songs. Why no classics? Why not good 60's rock anthems?
Why is it that its all this hardcore music? I mean does Hendrix not pump the blood the same way lets say Slayer?
If the choice is up to the UFC or more importantly Dana White, then shame on them/him. If its the fighters well then I say shame on them.

Rock Ballads to me seem perfect for entrance music. I'd love to see someone come down blasting The Who, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Alice N' Chains. Maybe I still am not watching enough MMA, but there just seems to be a lack of international music.

Take UFC 67, the last fight of the eve when Tyson Griffen came down to "Eye of the Tiger." Why don't more fighters take that approach. Matt Hughes-esc type entrances. I give credit to Pride because they seem to have much better entrance music. I think this can mainly be Dana's fault (Atleast for the UFC)

Just seems wierd to me that fighters don't pick more songs known.

Anytime I think to question a fighter and why the hell he's coming out to certain music I remember this guy can destroy about 99% of the people out there (myself included) so he can come out to whatever he wants.

Exactly... They don't come out to music to pump the fans up.
They come out to music for THEM. They are climbing in and fighting.

You aren't getting the point of this thread. I am asking why more fighters don't come out to that kind of music.

You act like this is a personally attack at you or your favorite fighters. I just wanna know why it seems so many fighters (atleast in the ufc) come down to more hardcore music.

Most likely because hardcore music gets them going?

I just thought it was idiotic you said this was Dana's fault.
Then you said you liked Prides music better.. The odd japanese music and crap those guys come out to? Wtf

Oh, and you said there is a "lack of international music."
LMAO
you listed Black Sabbath and The Who lol, so international.
