Better chance at upset: Randy or Shields??

I go back and forth on this one: I think both have a chance at pulling off the upset. Randy took the fight with Machida, so obviously he sees something in Machida's game that he thinks he can possibly exploit for a win.
GSP is fighting a slightly bigger guy in Shields who hasn't lost in 7 years.
Who's got the better chance and why?
How would Randy beat Machida?
How would Shields beat GSP??

Randy has the better chance.

GSP's wrestling offense/defense is tried and true. Stand-up is light-years ahead of Shield's so it will look pretty similar to the Koscheck fight with more strikes thrown from GSP b/c Shield's striking is worst than Koscheck's.

Shield's only chance is to somehow get GSP down and tap him (way easier said than down).

Machida on the other-hand does not look as invincible as GSP lately. Randy needs to get close and press Machida up against the fence like he did to Vera. But Machida is better than Vera so I am pretty sure he'll tag Randy some moment throughout the fight when he's closing the distance and get a TKO.

Randy for sure. I give Shields 10% chance & randy about 25 or so.

I'd say Shields.

I would have said Couture, had I not seen the weigh ins. Couture looked smaller than usual which makes his chances even slimmer.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

I'd go with Shields.

Shields has all the tools (minus striking) to not only give GSP a tough fight, but beat GSP.

Where as Randy only has 1 tool - wrestling, and with Machida's sumo and very solid clinch/TDD game, I'd say it is probably enough to defend from Randy's control,

Both can definitely do the upset, but Shields has a lot more going for him against GSP than Randy does against Machida.

Randy.

The only way Shields wins is if he pulls off a miracle submission. Good luck securing a takedown against GSP.

Shields because of the ridiculous odds against him but wouldn't be surprised at all if both Couture and Jake win. My odds would be more like 55/45 Randy and 60/40 for GSP.

These fights are alot closer than the bookies have them

Easily Randy has the better chance. He's a dominant Wrestler and any Wrestler has a very good chance of beating any Karate guy in an MMA bout.
