You're reaching. And I know why... Silva fans look for anything... absolutely anything to discredit GSP, and it's weak. I should have known better than to even come on here.
Let me just leave it at this, GSP will never get respected until he can finish fight. Silva has been hated on for so long but he came out and killed vitor. GSP had a significant advantage over fitch, sheild, kos, in the striknig department. But yet he was unable to put them away. Silva got his ass whooped for what 23 mins but finished the fight. I rather see a fight put it all on the line and lose or get there ass kick for 25 mins than playing it safe for 25 mins.

I agree 100%. GSP could take down silva at will and control him there. Silva has bigger weaknesses than GSP imo

Mac Danzig and his bird feeder once visited the Virgin Islands. They are now The Islands.
Mac Danzig can kill two fighters with one bird feeder.
Superman owns a pair of Mac Danzig bird feeder pajamas.

GSP has had the opportunity to fight Silva for 3 years, he's all talk. I look forward to the press conference.

Maybe an eye injury that sidelines him from fighting at MW till Silva is 40 years old?

In the meantime maybe GSP V Penn III? Maybe GSP V Hughes IV if Hughes beats Diego Sanchez.

This we can actually agree on. You can't make ridiculous claims like GSP has large holes in his striking, because from what we've seen, his striking is sound. That said, when he's hurt, he does back off. He doesn't become that caged animal who lashes out, like Jake did towards the end. And even though he had Jake rocked badly with a head kick, he didn't pounce on him for the win... I was yelling at the television, I was bothered so much by that.

GSP's big 'hole' still seems to be his mentality. And this is coming from a big GSP fan. He's a warrior in that he steps into a cage and is willing to be bludgeoned for a living, but he does indeed lack that killer instinct. I can only knock him so much, as he's a professional fighter and does what I do not... but he could have easily finished Jake had he been willing to pour it on a little thicker in the earlier rounds. And he doesn't appear to react to injury very well, but again, who am I to judge? I sit at my television, demanding that he injure or be injured... seems a bit dense in the grand scheme of things for me to judge him.

GSP IMO is scared of Silva, and I think that GSP would win a few rounds through wrestling control, and the fight will end with either silva TKOing GSP in round 3 or 4 or tagging him and submitting him on the ground. He just doesnt want to be in the same cage as that man.

Im not just saying he has flaws they bought have then but to behonest Jake is not a aggressive fighter as Gsp which was proven tonight and Anderson is more of a counter puncher that is technical and its been proving in the ring and I respect both fighters I just proving points that have been shown in the ring!!

I mean if you cant see out of one eye you are open to shots so if you can play safe to win a title then of course you would.

I am still surprised shields managed to catch GSP with as many shots as he did... and judge me or not I am a big fan of GSP (coming from a karate background myself) but this fight left me disappointed.

at the start of the third round, right when they take the stools out the cage someone in his corner said knock him out already.... his own corner is saying what most of the people here are complaining about

GSP would lose to Silva. This fight proved it. GSP's not some gifted fighter, he works his ass off for the skills he has, wheres Silva works his ass off and is like...almost superhuman.
