I don't know but they seem pretty quiet for a crowd of 55k, i think 125 was louder and maybe the last diaz fight.

Joe did say it was difficult to appreciate via tv, but yes, seemed a bit quiet at points.

Which is difficult to believe, knowing Canadians. Mustn't come across well on television.

Seemed pretty loud. In at least one fight (MacDonaled-Diaz I think) the fighters couldn't hear the bell to end the round. Was certainly quieter than expected in the late rounds of GSP-Shields because it was a boring/disappointing fight but seemed "standard" otherwise.

I think they were far quieter than the usual rowdy drunken American crowd. I remember laughing to myself watching a post fight interview with Aldo wondering when the "Y u no speak English!" boos would start. But they never did. Good for the Canadians for not being like their southern neighbors (me included).

Keep in mind that the SkyDome is a giant building so it's not going to be super loud even if everyone's going nuts and screaming their asses off. It's not going to be as loud as a hockey arena where everyone's packed in a lot closer to the main stage.

i mean what was there to be loud about? the most exciting thing that happened for them was when hominick tookover the last 2 minutes of his fight. before that it was 4 rounds of watching him grow a tumor under his eye and on his head. after that, in a main event, their CHAMPION, fought like a ballerina for 5 rounds. it was 55,000 drunk sleep people who couldnt wait to go home.

This. The buildin design probably doesn't make it seem as loud as it should have been. More modern stadiums are built to "sound" louder than others.

Or it could have been that you watched the event via a stream so the sounds wasn't as good.
Not being serious there about the stream so don't be getting all offended. I'm sure you purchased the event which is why you made the thread.
