Messed up eye or not, he was not impressive against Shields, Jake is meant to have the worst standup in the WW division and he was barely exposed.

I appreciate the fighter that became champion at one time. I lost respect for GSP a while ago.

Switch back GSP to his less developed self of a few years ago and we would have seen a fighter looking to and probably getting a finish with a 1-2-3-4-5-6 fists, kicks, knees, superman punches combos. Now it's jab and back-off. Then... wait for it, clock is ticking down, takedown, DING.

That's not they type I root for.

I hope Shields get's Condit rematch... he was an inexperienced baby last time they fought, now he's a well-rounded fighter who I can root for. Both are for that matter over GSP.

I miss when "Rush" was dropping fools with big shots and then TKOing them, shortly followed by a bit of break dancing and a back flip!

I dont think that its not that dana dosent want to see it happen i just think the timing is awful espically after gsp eyes being messed up this fight.

That does nothing to explain why they are REACHING for Nick Diaz to get an automatic title shot.... instead of completely dismissing the planned if he beats Belfort and he beats Shields, it's going to happen.

And GSP tweeted a few hours after the fight to say he was fine. He's on a 60 day injury suspension along with just about everyone else on the fight card.

no its not hard at all. Just look at how he fights his fights at WW. He fights not to lose. WHy would he then want to fight Anderson Silva where chances are very very good, that he will lose?
