I think Machida is the answer to all these wrestlers, I would like to see Machida against Ryan Bader or if they can manage to get a fight with Mousasi, then a title shot possibly. Vera does no good for Machida in my opinion.

Ryan Bader would be a much bigger Challenge then Vera, i dont like seeing Machida against the one shot KO power guys because he hesitates to long, but i would still love to see this fight

Believe me Vera is alot more dangerous then Ryan Bader, his striking is underrated, whens the last time you saw someone fight him standing not even Jones wanted to take that chance, not even Thiago who loves to stand.

Bader has one shot KO power but he isnt as technically sound and usually relies on his hands rather then mixing it up, so he will be easier in my opnion.

Wow wow wow..... You really think JBJ was scared of Vera's stand up?! Im sorry you dont understand fighters going for anothers weakness...

IF Vera didn't suck so bad off his back guess what, JBJ would of made him look retarded standing... Especially the way he put the smack down on Shogun in there stand up brawl, and Shogun is better then Vera in every way in comparing there stand up.

Your clearly getting confused on fighters going after weaknesses and giving to much credit to what they decide to ignore, JBJ wanted to end it short and sweet and knew taking a shitty ground game fighter down is a Good idea lol....

And Bader would do the same thing JBJ did and what Thiago Silva did, and thats take him down and pound his face till he looks retarded...

Vera is a good tune up for Machida. He's a tall striker, which is a good test for him to see how he handles the taller longer striker. Next to Bones I believe he's the tallest. It most certainly won't go to the ground, at least not until a heavy strike lands. And a decisive win over Vera would give him some status. I like this as a pre title shot eliminator. He would need one more, though, before a title shot. This fight will also reveal whatever adjustments Machida has made against Muay Thai fighters. I like it.

I wont get to be able to see enough Machida fights until he retires already!!! This fight would be a pointless statement and victory...

It would prove what everyone ALREADY KNOWS....

But i guess i enjoy watching Machida make a joke out of fighters......
