Someone had a nice pay day :)

Pablo just got a huge incentive to finish every fight he has by insane sub. $8K pre-bonus, damn.

*This is not a statement about fighter pay*

Mark Homnick getting 6,000 to be a co-main event in the biggest event in UFC history is inexcuseable.

Abso-fooking-lutely.

Still, after his performance, I expect his next fight to be far better rewarded.

Thanks for the info Coops.

6k$ for Hominick without the bonus? Wow, he was lucky there wasn't a full out slug fest on the card.?

Rauno 05-05-2011 03:50 PM

The Aldo-Hominick payouts suck shit. Greedy bastards.

Hammerlock2.0 05-05-2011 03:51 PM

Wow, Garza and Hominick sure had an unusually good payday. I hope they keep the bonuses that high so guys will try to finish more.

Roflcopter 05-05-2011 04:29 PM

It is not inexcusable. That's the amount of money that they signed for in their contract.

Just because he's in the co-main even doesn't mean they are going to suddenly re-work his contract.

He's getting paid anyway, not like the guy was actually making 6k for a co-main event.

Its embarrassing to see guys only get 4,000 dollars for a fight. And your right about hominick only making 2,000 dollars more then a guy who fights first and a guy who is in the co-main event. Im not sure how these guys survive on that money. I know sponsors and stuff but still.
