You obviously like to think you're balanced and fair, but you don't appreciate at all what Rashad has been through. Let me change your analogy slightly..
Your boss says there's a new guy going to join, but he's pretty good and everyone knows sometime down the line he's going to want that promotion you're going for. You resist, but your boss insists. The guy joining says don't worry we'll never cross paths etc, your boss agrees, so you say ok cool lets work together and be friends. You fall sick and the guy takes your promotion. The hinting at fighting Rashad doesn't really fit here but let's not forget that.
So after all that, you really think Rashad is overreacting and being fake? See this is what I mean, your bias is so glaringly obvious. It was an impossible situation made worse by both of them. Yet in every one of your posts, and don't kid here you have made dozens on the matter, Jones is this perfect guy and Rashad is the bad one. , and if anything Jones was the fake one by joining the gym and making promises he couldn't keep.
I have replied to you about this subject so many times that I've lost count, but you are always there ready to chirp up about it first, I just reply because it bugs me when people are so biased they just waffle on about things without ever budging. Gray talked about fake people and bam you're here talking about Rashad being fake with Jon Jones. Then you write a typically long and biased post about how Jones is cool and Rashad has done this that and the other. Seriously, you can't see what I'm saying here?
It's a forum Hiro.
A place where people can speak their mind, express their opinions.
And my opinion is the one i expressed in my previous post.
People don't think the same about a certain subject.
I know for sure, you an me...we agree on a lot of things - i've seen this on this forum - but this is just one subject we won't agree on.
Simple as that.
Again: Jones is not perfect, he made some mistakes in the way he approached this whole suject - i've already sai that. He could have taken a different approach to this whole situation. He didn't. Maybe it was just him being a young, inexperienced person, too enthusiastic...
Or maybe it was all premeditated?! And he's an evil genius. Who knows?!
But it's all history now.
And i still think Rashad was fake in his relation to Jones -PERSONAL OPINION. Never gonna change it.
It's just something i believe in. I've been through a similar situation once (different subject, smaller proportions), so you have to understand i am a bit subjective and it's impossible for you or anyone else to change my opinion about this.
Truth is they both handled it badly
Agreed. Could have been so easy to avoid this whole situation.
Mistakes - people learn from mistakes.
You have never said... you know what... it must really suck for Rashad, the guy has come out of this with nothing.
All I'm saying is, you're biased dude. Go back and look at your posts about this subject and you're never empathetic towards Rashard, always Jones. I defended Rashad countless times but there's numerous times where I've said they are both to blame.
First of all!
I honeslty feel sorry for Rashad!
He waited one year to get his shot and now this!!! THAT SUCKS!
But i am really happy for Jones!
He has every right to fight for the belt!
It's gonna be an AMAZING fight!
Same ending as this one!
One more fight to go and my 12 month prediction is becomong reality!
Unlucky Rashad though, should Jones get the title then what is he going to do?
The worst thing is - Rashad waited 1 year for this fight.
And now this!
I think he is gonna fight someone like Davis or the winner of Franklin and Griffin!
Still a lot of possibilities for him.
Doesn't need to switch divisions.
Jones is actually the person i consider LEAST likely to speak his mind. The guy doesnt even want to say ASS in public but instead spell it. He wants people to perceive him a certain way AT ALL costs. That 100% stops him from speaking his mind. He also hunted down a writer that wrote an article about him because he didnt like what it said. He is very self conscious about his image and thus will never say something if it chances to tarnish it.
Anyway.. just my opinion.
I respect your opinion.
Just like i've said already: i love Jon Jones the fighter - more than any other fighter, because i believe the guy is talented as hell and could be one of the best fighters ever.
It's a pleasure watching him fight.
And i've watched him since evolve ever since his debut UFC debut.
As a person, i like the guy: at least from what i've seen in the news, media, interviews etc.
Is he perfect: hell no!
But this is just how i percieve the guy.
Do i want you (or anyone else) to think the same about him?! NO.
Having different opinions is what makes people unique, makes a certain person an *individual*.
And, debates like this one wre welcomed any time. No harm done.
