Ha ha! Thanks for posting, man!

I skipped this presentation as I thought it would be dry and dull, full of fake platitudes. If this short clip is any indication, there were oodles of goofiness all around.

I love Silva. With all my heart. And several other organs.

I got the same feeling watching them.
A lot of mutual respect between them and it seems as though they *can make fun* of this situation.

I remember when Silva first said he wouldn't fight Jones because their good friends...and so many people seemed to be going with the whole: "ooohh, they know eachother for only a while and their good friends?! how is that possible?! it's just a sign of being scared..."
bla bla bla...

Imo the truth is, fans get to see less than 20% of what's going on with these guys - the fighters: what kind of people they are in reality.

Sometimes, i just get the impression, fans really percieve these guys just as fighters (not human beings), unable to develop any kind of relationships between them outside of the cage.

Phrases like "let them fight and be friends after" are too common these days and too many people use them to justify having a personal wish granted.

I also am curious on seeing who would win a MMA fight between these two, tbh.
But i can always respect either one of them saying: "we're friends and we don't wanna fight".

Is that opinion too hard to understand?! And respect?!

MMA fighters may be labeled as modern day gladiators (as seen on all UFC's PPV introductions), but the truth is, there's a BIG difference between gladiators and MMA fighters: gladiators were slaves and they had no choice: fight or die.
MMA fighters are free men and as far as i concerned, every man decides for himself.

PS: Jones and Silva for UFC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

You know I can't believe nobody has ever thought before about what has just occurred to me.

Anderson Silva is 6ft 2
GSP is 5ft 10
Fitch is 6ft 1

If GSP does not want to move up, why don't Fitch take the step, sure they may not give him an instant title shot, but lets see what he can do with his wrestling at MW where most guys are his size.

Okami = 6ft 2
Sonnen = 6ft 1 (same as Fitch)
Nate = 6ft 0
Maia = 6ft 0
Bisping = 6ft 2

I've seen this being talked about a couple of times on this place.

And the people talking this subject gave Fitch a lot of chances of beating Silva.

I believe Fitch has more chances of beating Anderson than he has beating GSP.

They are SUPER fights. Best against the best. GSP would be a ridiculous favorite against Diaz. Silva is a ridiculous favorite against Okami.

Silva VS GSP...?
Silva VS Jones...?

Should Couture V Lidell never have happened.
Should Penn V Hughes never happened.
Should Silva V Forrest never happened.
The reason i say this is because GSP probably doesnt want to have to move up and Neither does Silva basically when they do so they are just giving the other guy an advantage and it really doesnt prove anything. The gap in weight from classes is too big and makes a big difference.

Jones would Ragdoll Silva , but does that mean he is better or just that he is bigger ?

I would watch them but i really dont think it proves anything.
