I say he has at most 3 more fights left in him. That is even if he wins the next 2. If he loses I can see him retiring.

Some interesting comments in the full article. If Rampage is genuine in that his primary goal in fighting has always been money, imagine how good he'd have been with more pure ambitions - like just to be the best that he can.

I'm not saying he's not tried his hardest for the fight world, I'm just saying that a different approach to it may have given him bigger potential, even though he's a legend anyway. One of the best LHW fighters ever.

His acting is about 10x better than Randy's and Randy keeps getting work. Rampage and Herring are probably the best MMA actors around.

Not saying they're good on any real level, but I could see Rampage landing some decent rolls next to real actors like Statham.

You can be in that kind of shape with an hour a day, five days a week, in the gym. Not to mention that like most big actors he probably has easy access to PED's...

??? Rampage was probably the best part of that movie. The film sucked of its own accord, Rampage played his role just fine.

Well at least he is straight up about it, can't ask for anymore than that. That's cool, I feel like the MMA world can live without Rampage. I appreciate that he has a cult following and all, but like he said, some fighters just don't have it in them to fight beyond their prime. Then again, he is only, what, 33? He ain't even that old for a fighter so I guess it was just a case of how soon could he break into the entertainment business.

If Vinnie Jones, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, The Rock, etc can get work on a consistent basis (even if it is mostly straight-to-DVD nonesense) then I am confident that Rampage is going to earn the money he needs to retire. That's not because I think he is a better actor than them or has more charisma, but lets be real, than current state of the commercial aspect of the film industry is pretty lackluster right now. I imagine he'll feature in the sequel to The Expendables. Good for him if that's what matters.

What happened to the Rampage that said he wished he'd never done the A-Team movie?

Maybe he'll get his 2nd wind and surprise himself with how much he enjoys what he does?
