He is saying that Dana/Rankings would have been asking for him to fight Keith. He isnt saying whether he would or not. Though in past interviews he has stated that he never would.
This. This can easily be taken out of context. I actually remember a conference just after Jardine beat Chuck where Dana suggested that Rashad would have to fight Keith Jardine. Both those guys were there and both appeared to be extremely uncomfortable with Dana pushing it to the point where Rashad told Dana to his face that it wouldn't happen. I think Dana said something along the lines of 'if I want it to happen it will' to which Rashad replied 'No it won't'. Something along those lines anyways.
Rashad tried to drop a weight to avoid this ass whooping but Bones called him out pretty much, and now Rashad doesnt want to look like a punk and leave his top contender spot solely because Jon Jones is the new champ, when the new champ is saying he would have no problems taking Rashad out.
Jesus christ, kid. When exactly did Rashad try and drop to Middleweight to avoid Jones? Because this is the first time I have heard about it.
And for someone to have that much Ground and Striking skills is the reason why i believe he is the uncrowned P4P best
You can't be serious? Uncrowned P4P best?? You're on a wind up, lad. Bones Jones hasn't even defended the belt and you are immediately putting him ahead of the GSP's Silva's Shields??? He isn't even up there with Jon Fitch imo.
Also, spinning back elbows and flying knees (although I admit he does use them effectively) do not constitute impressive striking. He is a very unpredictable wrestler with a variety of attacks. Do you honestly think that Bones would hold his own in a Muay Thai fight???
Also it's becoming more and more obvious who is likely to win out of the ground game between Rashad and Bones.
