Cool fight. I like watching both fighters so I'll just sit back and enjoy. I think I give the edge to Henderson though. Miller is one tough SOB but I think Henderson has a fire lit and wants to make a statement in the UFC.

I feel the same way. Miller struggled bad with Bocek, where as Henderson pretty much dominated him.

Miller has better stand up than Boceck and has more power, but I still don't feel his stand up is any thing special.

Bendo wins via superior stand up and scrambles.

Daaaaamn...i don't know what to say:

I'm looking at this 2 ways:

1. as a MMA fan: i absolutely love this fight. 2 of the best LWs in the world. Both guys extremely tough, very skilled - on the ground and on the feet - great cardio, great durability. SOunds like a dream fight atm.

2. looking at Jim Miller. I can't stop thinking about one thing: what does this guy have to do to get a title shot?!?!

He's on an amazing run atm. 7-0. 9-1 overall in the UFC.
Only losses came against Edgar and Maynard.
Plus, he looked better and better in his last fights.

Now we all know what Dana said: Pettis gets the title shot if he beats Guida (wich i think he will).

But now that Edgar-Maynard 3 has been pushed back to August, that means the next LW title fight will take place sometimes in Novemeber or December - if Edgar vs Maynard doesn't end in a very fast KO/sub (doubt it).

That screws up Pettis' schedule: it would be only his 2nd fight in 12 months.

But, it's gonna screw Miller even more. Because, IMO, that means he will have to take another fight after Henderson (if he beats him) in order to get a title shot. And i think it could be Guillard or Siver if they don't lose their next fights.

The LW division is full of incredible fighters atm, but it looks like it's cursed.
That title fight draw was cursed!!!

Miller has a lot of stones taking this fight. Gotta hand it to him. Bendo is going to be a heck of a challenge, but I think Miller holds all the cards here. He has the wrestling and jitz advantage and will be able to hold his own on the feet.

Yeah I think Miller has this in every way... I like Henderson a lot but Miller is like the better version of Ben...

I see Miller easily able to clinch with Ben and i don't see Ben being able to stop or do anything about it...

Miller has WAY to much experience and has been playing and beating the TOP dogs for far to long....

I love this fight because its going to be A CRACK MATCH, i love Pettis vs Guida too! I think im just in love with Joe Silva!

I think we should have a thread dedicated to this mans sexiness!

But yeah i think if this Title shot is being held back that Pettis and Miller should fight for the next title shot contender after they both win.

Miller vs Pettis is going to be amazing if they do it

I like Pettis, and definitely think he deserves a title shot (the whole combining the WEC and UFC titles aside, the guy is a seriously skilled fighter), but dammit, Miller deserves one just as much!

I would have said have them duke it out, but the wait times are just way to significant. Pettis (if he wins agaist Guida) will get the winner of Edgar vs Maynard (whenever the sh*t that happens!)or since there are injuries on both sides of that fight, why not do Pettis vs Miller (assuming everybody beats everybody) for a legitimate #1 contender.

All this waiting around for champions stuff is getting really annoying to me...

I'm gonna say Miller has this one too. Early 2nd rnd sub. I've got Guida to decision Pettis. I can see Guida upsetting Edgar in a title fight. Decision probably. Then we'd have Miller v Guida for the title. Miller getting a 4th rnd sub. And FINALLY becoming champ.

Not sure if thats what I want to happen or its what I believe will happen.
