I don't think JDS and Einemo are at all comparable.. Einemo has some of the best BJJ in the world, Junior is a Brown Belt. Einemo has good standup and a pretty decent jab but he does not possess the power that JDS does.

This is Einemo's last fight against James Thompson.

The thing that I don't buy with this Brock Lesnar conspiracy theory is that Brock is a prideful person, he likes to be the best at what he does, otherwise he would probably still be in the WWE if he wanted easy money.

Brock's bank account must be stacked also, he probably doesn't need one last final payday from the UFC. He and his Wife both worked for the WWE, both made millions of dollars. They live a laid back lifestyle in the country, so they probably don't have too many huge bills to pay like other athletes/millionaires.

Brock Lesnar also started working out for this fight, he visited Randy Couture and trained with him for a while. That would be going to a lot of trouble and unnecessary workouts to make this plan. He wouldn't need to be training at all if this was really how it all worked out.

Maybe he did it as a good gesture to Dana and the Fertita's for helping him be on top of the MMA world in record time, giving him a shit load of money and helping when he was on the verge of death.

I can buy this story, it did seem like after the cain fight he wanted no more of it and then out the blue he was in a no1 contender fight with JDS and a coach on TUF 13. I dont know if its true or not, but certainly is a little suspicious. But on the other hand i dont really care, we get to see a better fight and Brock was probably a better personailty to have than Carwin on TUF 13, although i would of prefered it if Mir was the other coach.

If anything, the UFC made more money off Brock Lesnar then he made off them, so they doing him a favor isn't exactly spot on. Everything the UFC does is because it makes money for themselves, they saw the opportunity to sign Brock Lesnar when the HW division was at its weakest, and it paid off.

Could be possible.

Shane Carwin Vs. Dos Santos for a TUF doesn't sound to exciting. I could see why they'd wanna have Brock do the TUF at all costs.

Makes sense in a way. But nobody will ever know real truth. So why does it matter?

I think Brock likes money more than he likes his pride. Sorry, but someone doing professional wrestling in a time where we have MMA doesn't strike me as prideful, especially considering he was a college wrestler. College wrestlers went one of three places: MMA, WWE or a desk job. If he wanted to fulfill his pride and competitive spirit he would have went with MMA. If he cared about his pride he wouldn't have been fake fighting with other greased up men in speedos to soap opera plots. Brock may be a good person to his family and friends and all of that, but I think he's far from a sellout.

"If he really is sick again and this is legit, then it's unfortunate that people like me have these thoughts..."

We all know that saying about opinions being like a**holes. I like a conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, and I actually believe that much goes on at the higher levels of government / society that could be labeled as "conspiracy theory."

This far flung "opinion" however, seems to me to have more holes in it than Chael Sonnen's submission defense. I believe that Brock is sick with diverticulitis; diverticulitis is a serious and potentially recurrent disease. A far more simple, elegant and plausible solution to this issue of Brock not fighting JDS is that Brock is simply too sick to fight because he had a recurrence of his illness. Does anyone question BJ Penn or John Fitch when they pulled out of their fight? Or Frankie Edgar and Grey Maynard?? Then why Brock? It's not like he has a history of being soft and a quitter.

The thing with free speech is that we are all entitled to say what we want provided we don't endanger others. This dude is certainly entitled to his opinion. But just because we can say something doesn't always mean that we should say something. Opinions likes these, if based solely on conjecture, can be injurious and harmful.

I find it both unprofessional and unsavory to hear someone qualify a rant in which he questions someone's integrity with "If he really is sick again and this is legit, then it's unfortunate that people like me have these thoughts..." If and apology AND this MEGA CAVEAT precede your conspiracy theory, than maybe it's better to keep your conspiracy theory to yourself.

I am not a huge Brock Lesnar fan, though I respect what he has accomplished greatly. I hope he recovers quickly and comes back soon.

Just my $0.02

Your argument makes perfect sense, ie. Brock prefering money over pride.

But anyone choosing MMA over the WWE with Brocks size/ability, at that point in time (around 2000), would be giving up a lot of money.
