Fedor is Apollo and Sylvia is a mere peasant. Not worthy of cleaning Fedor's opponents' blood of the mat. There would be no chance for Tim. Munson is by far the best HW fighter in the UFC. (my personal favorite too) Though that is not saying much. I htink he is one of the best fighters on the ground in controlling the fight especially. Fedor would crush him as well. I have to say that i think Munson is better than Ricco Rodriguez though. I think he would win that fight in the second round by stoppage or sub.

Ufc

This just in....

UFC 63: Battle of the Badasses
Jeff Monson vs. Bas Rutten in December

The fight rules have been changed to incorporate a bare-knuckle format once again. Strikes to the genitals, top of the head, as well as the back of the head are coming back. If this doesn't get the ratings that they are seeking, Dana White has vowed to introduce weaponry into the fights.

In a Eutopian world that is.

Im a Monson fan, and I'm happy to see hes finally getting a title shot BUT its going to be very short lived. Yes he is strong, Yes he has alot of muscle, but Sylvia will have an EXTREMELY sizeable height advantage, and those trees that Monson has growing from his upper body, they are too short....they can pack a punch against a guy his size, maybe a bit taller, but hes not going to beat Sylvia, not a chance

I think Tim Sylvia will be strategically tooken out by Jeff Monson like Randy Couture did to Chuck the first match they had. Jeff Monson will take Tim down and then throw bombs at him or submit him like he always does. I think Tim Sylvia's time is up but thats my prediction and opinion so it isn't right on.

Listen, im really not sure how most of you can say monson can beat sylvia. . . Sylvia barely beat Arlovski, and in my opinion arlovski is a better fighter still, and you guys are going to tell me that monson is better then sylvia and arlovski. . . come on now give me a break, the man couldn't even beat liddell. . . who might i add is smaller then sylvia and has a shorter reach then him, not including the fact that sylvia has incredibly heavy hands. Sylvia will knock him out. . . .

All i can say is bring it on...Sylvia V Monson must happen or Monson is getting ripped off. Either way i couldnt care less but id like 2 c it happen.
Monson = better on ground, Sylvia = better on the feet.
Like all fights it depends how it goes down as to who wins.
5-9 V 6-8 be a massive diff - but be very interesting...

I think that Sylvia's reach advantage would be hard to overcome. Monson might be more aggresive than AA and really try to take Sylvia to the mat but he runs the risk of eating big punches and kicks while he is doing it.
