I'd say Jones just based on what he's done so far and to what competition. Too domninate in the LHW division is nearly unheard of. The FW division just isn't stacked like that but in the end who knows.

Lyoto Machida faced better fighters and beat them and defended his belt once while remaining undefeated yet i didnt see this nuthugging that has started for Jones for Lyoto.

Can we atleast wait until the guy defends his belt ?

It will be a long time before anyone can truly challenge Jones imo, he will dismantle anyone in the top 10 atm and has done so in everyone of his fights so far. Rampage is too slow and predictable for him imo, He is just better than Rasahd at everything, Machida is his toughest test because of his style but i can still see him get dominated with GnP and the Anderson fight would be the same and Phil Davis is just a poor mans Jon Jones, he could barely get lil nog down so he has no hope against Jones. I dont think we have even seen the man who will truly test Jon Jones yet.

I was just talking possibility's although LHW is not one of the weaker divisions and its childish to argue that it is, Ill agree Jones has a lot to live up to.

You obviously were not around when Lyoto beat Rashad because people were already voting him into the hall of fame. It wasn't just Rogan who thought we had entered the Machida era. People expected him to hold onto that belt forever.

Basically i was pointing to the fact that Lyoto had dominated and beaten high calibre fighters but i wasnt on the forum while this was taking place so ill take the comment back.

The forum i was on were all against Machida because they thought he was boring.

Lol at getting negative repped for posting a clean opinion that wasn't disrespectful at all. Thanks who ever did that.

Anyways, I think that Jones has looked more impressive than Aldo thus far. You know a division is shallow when Manny Gamburyan is/was considered a top 5 featherweight. No disrespect intended to him, but there is a reason why he couldn't make it in a division 10 pounds heavier than the one he is in. Not exactly a great win for Aldo. Jones on the other hand hasn't even looked challenged yet. Although, we will see how he unfolds as a champion. I'd like to see him go 5 rounds, but then again, his skills and finishing ability are the reasons why it will be hard for us to see that.
