Strves Striking is not his only major weekness!

The guy has way to many holes in his game to be top 10 any time soon..

Travis Browne is going to do the same what Roy already did. Exploid his biggest weekness.
How can McCorkle be so superior on the ground, when Struve swept him like he was a 10 year old? Gassed or not... you dont get swept like that unless you suck. Struve is better than McCorkle everywhere, with or without any gas.

Same reason why every fighter loses to a lesser one if his cardio isn't there or if his own expectations are too high.

When you aren't in shape you are not half the fighter you used to be. History has shown this many, many times.

Cardio is the most important aspect of a fighter! No matter how good you are, you gonna lose if you gas out like that.

You should rewatch the fight again. McCrokle easily took Struve down and locked the Kimura in and almost dislocated his shoulder. You could see that his ground skills were far superior. Then after jenking and jenking on it, he had to let go and was completely out of it because of his empty cardio tank.

It was an embarrassment actually!

Struve's pretty crap imo. He was getting demolished on the ground by Morecraft too. Lost all respect for him with the shit he pulled on Morecraft.

He''d get smashed on the feet by any decent striker and handled on the ground by any decent wrestler, BJJ fighter.

I've really not seen much potential from him at all.

He was getting beaten down really, really bad in that first round. Then he throws a cheap shot are Morecraft at the start of the second round and ends up KO'ing him.....

I think Paul Buentello was robbed in that fight too.

Agree...he doesn't make the most of his reach advantage and fights in range of shorter opponents - Nelson is a perfect example. He needs to watch Klitchko tapes.
