First time i watched that fight all the way through and..... wow.. One of the best fights Ive ever watched. Chuck was so MUCH more quick and dynamic then. He mixed up his combos and didn't only look for the one punch KO. He could take a punch and was in amazing shape. I never really had beleived that Chucks chin detiorated but after watching the shots he took from vitor there is no question. Just thought Id share that.

One of my all time favorite fights for sure. A real good fight to show to anyone your trying to convert over to our sport. The dynamic striking on display here was just awesome and really captured an image of what an in prime Chuck Liddell was all about.

In his prime Chuck Liddell was a freaking monster. UFC fans got to watch the rise and decline of Liddell but most only remember his more recent fights. In his prime he came in shape, he mixed up his attacks and he even had decent kicks! His takedown defense was ridiculous so you were basically forced to bang with him.

I've never watched this fight before, it's pretty awesome. Personally, I gave Vitor the first round because of the takedowns and aggression. Chuck didn't do much until the end of the round. Chuck won the second because Belfort didn't really do anything at all and in the third if Chuck didn't get the knockdown I would have scored that for Belfort as well. Up until the knockdown he was really putting it to Liddell and was getting really aggressive.

Shows just how dangerous a prime Chuck was though, the ability to take any shot and return one just as hard on top of shutting down many fighter's ground game. His ability to simply stand up from a bad position on the ground is still amazing. Nobody else has that kind of quality to their game.

Chuck looked just as good against Franklin if not better. for a guy who fought and partied the way he did i am extremely surprised he never deteriorated in fighting ability like a lot of other people have.........just can't take a punch anymore.

it really is an epic fight, both were incredible in that fight, hell vitor took chuck down haha

its so weird how many great fights and fighters we have seen, and in the beginning, we're lucky enough to actually watch the first guys in this new sport that will soon be 5x what it is today

its like watching the first steps in wrestling since MMA will be the new boxing and wrestling IMO...its so awesome, so many legends came and are now gone or almost gone, chuck, randy, fedor, big nog, cro cop, wandy, rampage, franklin, hughes, coleman, shamrock, gracie, sakuraba, frye, bas, damn..so many great fighters that we saw the rise and fall of ppl who made MMA what it is today

and we will still see the rise and fall of many guys to come, imagine when GPS, AS, BJ are gone...we will eventually see the fall of JBJ...everybodys time comes, but its always awesome to go back and watch the epic fights they leave behind
