look at the pete sell and scott smith fight.. they were best friends and looked how that was... its about the competition and business... entertain the fans. you dont see professional sports teams not challeging each other because the coaches are friends? isnt it all for the fans?
also i dont see anything wrong with people chanting USA USA USA? they live in the US and have the right to chant it. Fans have always said that in any sport where and american is challenging a non american.

i think there are different levels of friendship...i could never ever hit a friend ive known since 2nd grade as hard as i could in the face. i think something in you takes away from your edge. I dont think family should fight either, the nogs or fedor/alek etc.

I've had a friend since the 3rd grade and we are extremely close. We always train together and spar and fight each other and I honestly would fight him over anyone else in a fight (if i ever got the chance) because it think it would be alot more fun and there wouldnt be hate. Also UFC, Pride, K1.... they say they are all about the fans, so why not have awesome fights like Rampage and tito, Jardine and Rashad, GSP vs whoever, its a professional business and thats unfair to a person who wants the belt, but cant get it because the person holding the belt doesnt want to fight friends.

notoriousviv has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I'm certainly no fighter, but I couldn't imagine getting into a cage and going all out trying to knock out one of my close friends. Honestly, if you were in the ring with your best friend and he was leaning in with his hands down, could you honestly give him a high-kick the way Cro-Cop does to people, or the way Rashad did Sean Salmon, and just knock him clean out? If you can, more power to you. I certainly couldn't.
