I had Miguel winning the fight 30-27, but honestly it was so close that you could have picked either guy. The bottom line is that neither fighter inflicted enough damage to convincingly win so neither of them have the right to complain about the decision.
Having said that, this fight was a perfect example of how judges will give a round to the guy laying on top, even if the guy on bottom is doing more and inflicting more punishment while the guy on top is doing absolutely nothing.
Ask yourself, who would you have rather been in that fight? My answer is definitely Torres.
