All Torres did in mount was defend Mighty Mouse's escapes he attempted zero submissions and strikes and then lost the position. You people are so ridiculous if that was a submission grappling match Mighty Mouse would have won by a large margin you don't get points for not coming close on submission attempts in submission grappling either. It isn't like he was locking up armbars, chokes, and shoulderlocks the entire fight and Mighty Mouse was escaping he was stopping the attempts before they got to that point.

I don't really value your opinion so you should probably just stop wasting kinetic motion.

Dude mighty mouse had crazy amount of takedowns won what striking there was and spent much more efficient control on top. Totally controlled where the fight went, it was only on the ground because he wanted it to be.

You don't value facts that counter the opinions you forge with a combination of wild delusions and ignorance.

lol...yet Torres was on top for multiple stretches of time in the fight. So therefore he wanted it to be on the ground and was winning the fight.

Yeeep.....

Says the guy who thinks they give you advantage for being in someone's guard in Submission grappling.

You are seriously one of the least knowledgeable posters I've ever seen. The full red beyond recourse suits you.

Takedowns and passes score moron.

Getting 4 points for mount doesn't matter when your opponent has taken you down and passed your guard over 12 times.

Nothing even close to 12 passes would've scored.

He had at least 4 full passes to side control that would have scored and what somewhere between 4-7 takedowns and ended up ontop at the end of each round so all of those sweeps were negated by the ones Mighty Mouse got. You don't know what you are talking about Torres lost that fight under any sensible criteria. You are just making shit up anyways claiming Mighty Mouse didn't land any gnp when he landed somewhere between 60-100 strikes on the ground.

Man, I hate to see Miguel lose like this. He was the only guy having a real offense in this fight and still lost.

I guess all I can do is continue to hope that some day positions will mean nothing in MMA, neither offensive nor defensive.
