Depends really cause I think Hendo has been better in the past couple of yearss than he was back when Chuck was in his prime. One thing I definitely have to look at is that Henderson was able to go a hard 5 rounds with Rampage and Rampage walked through Chuck (twice). I know MMA math doesn't work but Rampage clocked Hendo with his biggest shots and it didn't really phase him - those same shots dropped Liddell (even back in his prime).
I think takedowns don't really come into the equation much because if you'll stand and bang with Henderson he's content to keep it standing. Plus, I don't think his takedowns are good enough to takedown Liddell or keep him on the ground. I think Liddell had the better overall standup but I'm not convinced he could hurt Henderson. I see it going to a decision and they don't call him Decision Dan for nothing.
Tough fight to call though as like I said I think Henderson is better now and Liddell was obviously better then. Same with Couture though - I think Couture is better these days than he was back before his first retirement.

Iceman without a doubt. He excelled are destroying brawlers like Hendo. Though it would be a good fight, I think if they ever fought Hendo would have suffered his first KO. Anderson Silva rocked Hendo and I have no doubt in my mind Iceman would have done the same. Besides as good of a Greco roman wrestler as Hendo was, Iceman's TDD in his prime was lengendary, so in my eyes it would have been a standup war.

Gotta give this one to Liddell. Size advanatge, legendary counter-wrestling, one punch KO power, superior stand up technique, and about even cardio.
I don't know if Liddell could finish Henderson, but I know he'd outland him and outwork him. Liddell would've taken this by KO or UD, depending on whether he landed "the big one" or not.

Dan's always had the better chin, Chuck was getting stopped well before he was out of his prime by Couture and Rampage, Dan would have done the same thing.
Hendo by TKO Round 2.

Never fought an elite striker? What does that have anything to do with Dan? Hendo was never a good striker, hes a brawl and bomb fighter. Chuck was great at tearing people like that apart. Chuck's weakness were guys like Rampage who had tight boxing with wicked power. But someone as sloppy as Dan is going to get drilled in the face all night.

Gotta give it to Chuck. As others have mentioned Dan is a bit sloppy. Chuck's counter's are just too good. Dan would have to land the H Bomb fast to pull out the win.

I think Dan was good enough to take Chuck down a few times and win the fight in a brawl, even in their primes. I wouldn't argue that scenario though because of how dangerous Chuck is remembered to have been.
However, if they would have fought anytime in the last 2-3 years, I think it would have been a really, really bad night for Chuck.

Chucks chin was fairly solid back then as well and he had quick recovery times.
Very hard to call but I think Chuck back then could have put him away even if it looked something like the Overeem fight he would have got it done.

In thier primes i think Chuck would beat him from pillar to post, i dunno if he could KO him because Hendo has the best chin in all MMA by far but it is a prime Liddell we are talking about here so i dunno. All i know is that Liddell would out strike him all night long and had good enough TDD to keep it standing.
